MemberI did some reading up myself about Pure Balance before I picked it out, apparently their ingredients are natural and without unnecessary fillers – sounds like good news eh? I’ve gathered they don’t use soy, wheat or corn, all of which can be tricky for dogs to digest. And this stuff doesn’t have any by-products either. If you ask me, I believe a happy dog starts with what we put in their bowl.
It’s slightly more expensive than the grocery store brands we’d used earlier, but seeing how it has turned around Sparky’s health is totally worth it in my eyes. If any of your fur buddies are struggling with food sensitivities or allergies, give this a shot – worked wonders for us!
Remember every pup is unique thogh – our dog friends deserve a diet crafted just for them so make sure to adjust as needed! Good luck to you and your 4-legged buddy.

MemberI switch my German Shepherd, Max, to Pure Balance a few months ago on the recommendation of a friend. Initially, I was skeptical, you know how picky Shepherds can be sometimes! But I gotta say… it’s been really good for him.
One thing that immediately stood out is the ingredients list – it’s all about real wholesome stuff and no cheap fillers or weird by-products. And thank God, no artificial colors or preservatives; don’t see why dogs need that!
But what really won me over is how much Max loves it. He actually seemed more energetic and his coat is looking way better now. He used to have digestive problems fairly often, but that’s nearly vanished since we made the switch.
However, keep in mind, every pup is unique and what works for my Max might not do well with your precious one. Don’t shy away from consulting a vet if you see anything offbeat post-switching foods; they always know best!
Cheers to happy, healthy pups! 🐾

MemberI’ve been using Pure Balance for my golden retriever, Bentley, for over a year now and honestly, I’ve noticed a big difference. His coat is so shiny and he seems to have boundless energy. He used to have digestion issues with the previous brand we were feeding him but ever since we switched to Pure Balance, those problems seem like a thing of the past.
The ingredient list is impressive too. It’s grain-free (which was a major plus point for me) and packed with wholesome ingredients, no shady additives or fillers. Bentley pretty much turns his nose up at anything else now – guess we both are sold on Pure Balance!
If you’re still unsure, read up more reviews or better yet, consult your vet to ensure it’s the right fit for your dog’s specific needs. Every pup is unique after all! Good luck 🙂

MemberJust wanted to share my personal experience with Pure Balance dog food. I started Sammy, that’s my Lab Retriever mix by the way, on Pure Balance a few months ago and it’s been doing wonders for him.
For years we battled some digestion and skin allergy troubles with Sammy but within two weeks of switching to Pure Balance, the difference was clear as day.
I specifically use the Lamb and Brown Rice variety because Sammy is head over tails for lamb. He has lost all interest in table scraps now (a win-win situation, ya know). This stuff gives him clean poops regularly (yay for easy cleanups!) and his coat’s never looked healthier either.
And not to mention the convenient delivery options from Walmart if you’re lazy like me. 😉
As always though, every pup is different so things might not be the same for your fur baby. Always best to try out a small bag first before diving in completely.
Hope this helps anyone considering a switch to Pure Balance! Just look at the tail wagging now. 🐾🐕🦺
Cheers guys,

MemberI did see some reviews complaining about changes in the formula, but haven’t noticed anything negative with Sparky so far. With any pet food, I guess it’s all about how your own pup reacts to it. Just keep an eye on their digestion, mood, and general well-being after you switch foods—you know your dog better than anyone else does!
Price point is decent too. A little pricier than some brands, but less than those high-end ones. In my book, if Sparky’s happy and healthy, it’s totally worth it. But hey remember—every dog is different! Reply here if you go ahead with Pure Balance; would love to hear how it works out for your buddy. Keep those tail wags coming!

MemberJust thought I’d weigh in on the Pure Balance dog food subject. We’ve had our border collie, Max, on it for about a year now – and we’re pretty impressed so far.
To start with, it was the ingredient list that caught my eye. More natural, fewer fillers; I mean, that’s all we want for our fur friends right? I also liked that they have grain-free options for pups with sensitive stomachs – a big plus!
Taste-wise (or well, from Max’s perspective), he seemed to like it from day one. No hesitation, straight into his bowl like he hadn’t eaten in days! So yes, two paws up from him.
In terms of his health, we haven’t noticed any negative changes at all. If anything, his coat is shinier & he seems more spirited. Our vet also confirmed there’s nothing concerning about their formulas during our last wellness check.
Remember though, changing your pup’s diet should be done gradually to avoid upset tummies. Also please consult your vet because not all pups are the same!
Hope this helps anyone sitting on the fence. Good luck! 🐾

MemberI’ve been feeding my golden retriever, Max, Pure Balance dog food for over a year now. I chose Pure Balance because of its natural ingredients list; their Lamb and Brown Rice recipe is Max’s favorite. He has a sensitive stomach that’s been an issue with other brands before, but Pure Balance seems to work well for him.
The only downside is, it can be a bit pricey compared to some brands, but hey, nothing but the best for our fur babies, right? Also, it doesn’t always smell great, but then again most dog foods don’t (we all know that doggie breath!). But so long as Max gets excited at meal times and his coat stays shiny and healthy-looking – I’ll take it as a win.
If anyone else feeds their pup Pure Balance and notices the same or different results, I’d love to hear your take on it. How’s about that Chicken & Brown Rice recipe? Max hasn’t tried that one yet! Stay woofy everyone 🐾

MemberJust saw your post about Pure Balance Dog Food annd thought I’d weigh in. Got a lab mix, 5 years old and she’s been on Pure Balance for about 6 months now.
Personally, I’m pretty happy with it! I switched over from another high-end kibble that was almost twice the price, to be honest. I’ve noticed her coat has gotten shinier and she seems to have more energy too. The best part is, she absolutely loves meal times now.
The ingredient list seems great – lots of good protein sources and real vegetables, no sneaky stuff or fillers. I could tell straight away that this isn’t just another cheap brand full of grain filler masquerading as “enriched” or “fortified”.
I just wish they’d work a little on their packaging, though! Three times out of five, the bag arrives a bit beaten up but thank goodness no rips so far!
All in all, my rating would be solid 4/5 for Pure Balance. Good quality food at an affordable price point – my girl couldn’t ask for more (except maybe unlimited belly rubs!). Definitely plan on sticking with this brand for the near future.
Hope that helps with your decision! Pats and treats to your pup from us!

MemberCharlie, my Golden, loves it and his coat looks absolutely amazing since the switch. Another bonus point – it doesn’t upset his stomach like a few of the other foods we’ve tried in the past (Charlie’s got a sensitive tummy).
On the flip side, it can be a bit harder to find than some of the more mainstream brands. Not all stores carry it, so sometimes I have to plan ahead a bit more when we’re running low. Also noticed it doesn’t come in canned options which would make meal variety easier.
But hey overall, we’re pretty happy with Pure Balance. Would definitely recommend giving it a try if you’re considering it. Remember though, every doggo is different and will react differently to food changes so introduce anything new gradually!
