Our Marley is a super finicky eater but he seems to love the taste of Blue Buffalo foods. I’ve noticed his coat got shinier ever since we’ve made the switch – probably that Omega 3 & 6 at work! Thumbs up on that front.

The only downside might be the price point though – a bit on the hefty side for sure. But honestly, seeing how healthy and happy it makes our fur baby, I personally believe it’s worth every penny. As always though, remember what works for one pup may not work for another so always keep an eye on your little mate when switching up their chow!

What’s been other folks’ experience? Do you guys think it’s worth the splurge?

I’ve got two Labradors, Baxter and Daisy, and they absolutely love Blue Buffalo! I made the switch about a year ago after realizing that the stuff I was feeding them just wasn’t up to par with their health needs. One of my buddies recommended Blue Buffalo.

The change in their energy levels was practically immediate. They’re more playful, enthusiastic on walks and overall seem healthier. Their coats are glossier than before too.

Now, as any dog owner would know, Labs can put a lot of anything away – but even then, the lack of fillers in Blue Buffalo seems to keep them full longer. Sure, it’s pricier than many other brands on the shelf, but hey… good health is priceless. Maybe for Baxter and Daisy too! 😉

Another neat thing is the variety they offer – it gives me options according to their dietary requirements or even if I simply want to mix up their meals a bit every now and then.

The only downside is that some flavors or types don’t agree with Baxter’s sensitive tummy, but after a few trials and errors, we’ve settled on ones that work for them both.

Remember all pups are different though, so what works for mine may not work for yours. But I’d say give it a go if you’re considering the switch! Happy pup parenting everyone!

Now, on the flip side, it is a bit on the expensive side compared to some other brands. But considering it’s high-quality stuff and our dog gobbles it up like there’s no tomorrow, I’d say it’s worth every penny. One more thing, though – make sure you slowly introduce it into your pup’s diet if you decide to switch. Changing dog food brands suddenly can upset their stomachs. Happy feeding!

He also never gets tired of the taste, which is a big problem I had with some other brands before switching to BB. annd the fact that it’s made with all-natural ingredients? That’s another huge plus because Marley has allergies and we’ve had to be super careful about what we feed him.

But as always, remember each pupper is different so what works great for Marley might not be fantastic for other dogs out there. Maybe have a chat with your vet before switching feeds or if you’re noticing any health changes in your doggo after the switch. Anyway, hope this helps anyone considering Blue Buffalo!

But yup, I too noticed it’s a tad pricier than others. I’ve seen it pointed out here before but in my book, quality pips price any day of the week for my boys. Love peace of mind knowing I’m feeding them something that’s got wholesome ingredients without any of those dreaded by-product meals.

Only hiccup was Lucas had a bit of a tummy issue when we first switched over but it settled after two weeks or so. Probably just them getting used to the switch – happens sometimes with new foods. Benny took to it like a duck to water though!

Bottom line: If you can swing the cost, I’d say go for it. Our furry pals are worth every penny, aren’t they? Just keep an eye on your pup during transition – everyone reacts differently!

    Cheers,

I’ve been feeding my golden retriever, Charlie, Blue Buffalo for a couple of years now. Can’t praise it enough. He absolutely loves the taste – I swear, the moment he hears the bag crinkle, he comes bounding over! I’ve noticed his coat is shinier and he seems to have more energy these days.

That said, it’s a step up in price from some other brands. But considering it’s made with natural ingredients and no weird additives, I feel like it’s worth every cent for Charlie’s health. It also has life source bits that are full of antioxidants and vitamins, so you know your pup is getting all the good stuff they need.

The only downside (if you can even call it that) is the smell – let’s just say it won’t be winning any gourmet awards from us humans! 😂

In summary, I’m sticking with Blue Buffalo. The change in Charlie’s health & happiness makes it all worthwhile. Give it a shot – your dog might love it as much as mine does!

    Cheers!

I’ve been feeding my Siberian Husky, Baxter, the Blue Buffalo Life Protection Formula for about a year now. He seems to really love it, especially the chicken and brown rice recipe. I noticed that his coat has become shinier and much more vibrant since the switch. The vet also commented on his good health during the last checkup.

But fair warning – you have to be careful with portion sizes since it’s higher in protein than some other brands. In the beginning, I made the mistake of giving Baxter too much and it upset his stomach a little. But once I figured out the right quantity, things settled down.

The price might seem a little steep initially, but considering the quality ingredients (real meat being the first one on the list!) and how well Baxter has been doing on it; it’s totally worth every penny to me.

Just keep an eye on your dog after switching food thogh. Every pup is unique so what works for one may not work for another. Good luck!

My vet even noticed the difference and asked what we’ve been doing differently. It’s a bit pricier than some other brands, but for me, it’s totally worth every penny knowing it’s benefiting my boy so much. However, every dog is unique right? So I’m sure what works for Finn might not be everyone’s choice. Some friends of mine mentioned their dogs having digestive troubles after making the switch. As always with diet changes for our furry friends, introduce it slowly and see how it goes!

Just noticed your post about Blue Buffalo dog food and thought I’d pop in with my two cents. I’ve been feeding my Golden Retriever, Max, this stuff for about 6 months now.

Overall, I’m pretty pleased with it. He seems to love the taste – he always comes running as soon as he hears that bag rustle. But it’s not just about taste right? We want our fur babies healthy so ingredients matter a ton.

I gotta say, Blue Buffalo wins points on that front too. It’s got real meat as the first ingredient and lots of fruit and veggies. Less filler, more nutrition, you know? Plus, it’s free of by-product meals, corn, wheat, soy or artificial preservatives.

Max’s energy level improved noticeably when we switched from his previous brand. His coat got shinier too (a welcome bonus!). Although I’ve read some negative reviews related to digestive issues, but Max hasn’t had any tummy troubles with it up till now.

The only downside is – it’s a bit pricier compared to other brands in the market. But hey, for me it feels worth shelling out those extra bucks considering Max’s overall health and happiness.

Hope this helps! Give your pup an extra pat from me! 🐾🐕‍🦺

I’ve been feeding my old Labrador, Rocco, with Blue Buffalo for a while now. He seems to really love it and gets excited every meal time. Beyond that, I think what really won me over was the ingredients list – no artificial preservatives or colors and real meat as the first ingredient. Rocco has been more energetic, his coat shinier.

That said, I know some dogs have reported upset stomachs after switching to Blue Buffalo—Rocco had slight diarrhea initially but it settled with time. So be sure to transition slowly if you decide to give it a shot! Remember, every dog is unique; what works wonders for one might not be best for another. Cheers!

I’ve been feeding my golden retriever, Bailey, Blue Buffalo for about a year now and he seems to realy like it. Can’t tell you much about the taste myself, but the pooch definitely chows down when mealtime rolls around haha!

For us, Blue Buffalo has worked well because Bailey is a pretty active doggo and it’s got a good balance of protein and carbs. Plus, it doesn’t have any weird filler ingredients that I can’t pronounce, so that’s a plus in my book! His coat has been shiny and he seems energetic as always.

In terms of price, it’s a bit on the higher side compared to other brands, but I think it’s worth it for all the natural goodies they cram into every bag. Plus, their packaging has little life source bits which they claim are nutrient-rich – sounds important eh?

As with everything though, each pup is unique so what works well for my Bailey might not work as great for your fur baby. Switching foods can also cause digestive issues initially so maybe try mixing in a small amount with their current food to start. Good luck!

I’ve been feeding my golden retriever Blue Buffalo for about a year now, annd honestly, I’m pretty impressed. She absolutely loves the taste (especially the chicken and brown rice recipe). Under her previous diet, she had some digestion issues, but those were gone after transitioning to Blue.

The ingredient list is also pretty clean – real meat as the first ingredient and it is grain-free. Plus, “LifeSource Bits” seem to be their selling point. They’re these little kibbles packed with vitamins and antioxidants.

The only hiccup we’ve encountered was that our Daisy did have a mild allergic reaction at first. We weren’t sure whether it was the food itself or just the change in diet. Anyway, she adjusted after some time.

Oh yeah, it’s a bit pricier compared to other brands but for me, Daisy’s health is worth every penny.

Just remember every dog is unique. What works for Daisy might not work for your pooch. Best advice? Consult your vet before making such changes to your pupper’s diet.

    All the best!

I’ve been giving my golden retriever, Buster, Blue Buffalo for about six months now. It’s pricier than some other brands out there, but you can really see the difference in quality. As soon as I switched him over, his coat got shinier and he started having more energy.

He particularly loves their “Life Protection Formula.” Chicken and brown rice is a big hit with him – gobbles it right up. Plus, its grain-inclusive which is a nice change from the many grain-free options these days. And did I mention they have no weird additives or by-products? That was a big selling point for me.

That said, I’ve heard some dogs can have sensitive stomachs to it or don’t like the taste… But luckily Buster’s had no problems. The vet says he’s never looked healthier!

All in all, thoroughly recommend giving Blue Buffalo a shot if you’re thinking about switching up your dog’s food. Just remember every dog is different and what works for one may not work for another.

Just saw your post about Blue Buffalo dog food annd thought I’d throw my two cents into the ring. I’ve been feeding my beagle, Buddy, Blue Buffalo for about a year now. He’s picky as can be but took to this brand like a duck to water. His favorite is the Life Protection Formula – Chicken & Brown Rice mix.

One great thing I noticed is that his coat got shinier and less shedding too. His energy levels are up and his vet says he’s at a stellar weight for his age and breed which I take as pretty solid evidence that it’s nourishing him properly.

But gotta admit, it pinches the pocket more than the other brands out there. I mean, you definitely get what you pay for in terms of quality but still, might not work if you’re on a tight budget.

Also, crossing my fingers here ’cause I heard some folks faced recalled bag issues in the past – hasn’t happened to me yet though!

Overall, Buddy seems to love it and it looks like it’s doing him good health-wise. So yeah… might be worth sampling and see how your pup reacts!

Just wanted to chime in and give my two cents on Blue Buffalo dog food. I’ve been feeding it to my Golden Retriever, Cooper, for over a year now and, honestly, he can’t get enough of it. Coop’s coat looks shiny and healthy, he has energy for days and his digestion seems a lot better! Plus, love that it’s all natural ingredients—an important factor for me as I like to keep Junk-food Joeys out of Cooper’s diet.

But let’s be real, the price tag is on the higher end. It’s not the cheapest brand on the market by any stretch. But in my opinion, you’re paying for quality ingredients that benefit your pupper in the long run—so I think it’s money well spent.

Obviously every dog’s different though—Cooper took to it like a duck to water but other pups may not enjoy or react the same way. I always recommend trying a small bag first or getting some samples if you can. Anyway, that’s just my experience with it. Hope this helps anyone who is considering making a switch!
