MemberJust saw your post about Heritage Ranch dog food. I’ve been using it for my Golden Retriever, Luna, for a few months now. Kid you not, she seems to absolutely love it—always finishes her meal without a fuss!
Heritage Ranch claims to have no wheat, corn or soy and that was a major selling point for me since Luna has a grain allergy. A big plus is that the first ingredient listed on the bag is real meat, not just fillers so you know your pup’s getting a quality meal.
What I noticed with Luna is that her coat has become shinier and she seems more lively during our park runs. Of course, every dog is different and this has just been our experience.
For me though, the biggest drawback is that it’s not stocked in all grocery stores—you might have to make a separate trip to HEB which might put some folks off.
Anyway, hope this helps! Happy tail waggin’!

MemberI’ve been feeding Heritage Ranch to my golden retriever for about 6 months now, and honestly, he seems to love it! His coat looks shiny and healthy, plus he’s got a lot of energy. What I dig about this brand is that the first ingredient on their list is always real meat and it doesn’t contain any corn, wheat, or soy (since my boy can be sensitive to these ingredients).
On the flip side, some people say it’s too pricey for their budget which I can definitely understand. My thoughts are if it works for your fur-baby and you’re able to swing it, why not? After all, we only want what’s best for our dogs!
Hope this helps you make a decision! Happy dog-parenting! 🐾

MemberOne of the reasons I decided to try it out was due to the fact that they leave out all the corn, wheat & soystuff – that stuff doesn’t sit well with Rock’s tummy. Plus, it has a decent protein content for his active lifestyle. He’s always on the move, whether we’re tossing the frisbee or trekking through our backyard trails.
As far as pricing goes, it’s definitely not the priciest dog food out there, but you aren’t sacrificing quality either. Of course, every dog is different so just cause my furry friend loves it doesn’t guarantee yours will. But hey, worth a shot right?
Just remember to transition your pup slowly if you do decide to switch. A sudden change in diet can cause some digestive discomfort. Cheers and good luck!

MemberSo, I’ve been feeding my pooch, Shadow, the Heritage Ranch Dog Food for around 6 months now and honestly, he seems to like it. It took him a few days to adjust since we switched from another brand, but now he gobbles it right up!
As per the nutritional value, it seems pretty much on point. It’s got real meat as the first ingredient (we’re using the chicken and brown rice formula), it’s grain-free which is great for dogs like mine with sensitivities, and it doesn’t have any artificial colors or flavors that I can spot.
But here’s the thing – every dog is unique. Shadow has enjoyed Heritage Ranch without any stomach troubles or change in behavior; actually his coat seems glossier these days! So, it’s worked well for us, but do remember it might not be the case for all dogs.
It’s reasonably priced considering its quality and ingredients so if you’re thinking about switching foods, perhaps give this one a try – just transition slowly over a week to make sure your pup adjusts well. If you notice anything unusual health wise? Speak to a vet ASAP.
Anyway, hope this helps! Hug those pups for me.

MemberWe started with the Grain-Free Beef & Vegetable Recipe – easy transition from his old kibble and he gobbled it up no problem. Plus, I haven’t seen any signs of bloating or food allergies that gave us trouble with some other brands. Rumor has it the ingredients are pretty solid too – real beef as the first one (big win!) mixed with fruits and veggies, not a bunch of hard-to-pronounce fillers and by-products.
The price tag is surprisingly friendly given its quality. The folks at Heritage apparently wanted to make sure all pet parents can afford good nutrition for their fur-babies.
Max’s coat is shinier than ever and his energy levels? Through the roof! He’s lost a bit of extra weight (much needed) too – so I reckon this stuff’s gotta be doing something right, haha!
Of course, each pup is unique and what works wonders for one may not fit all. But if anyone’s thinking about trying out Heritage Ranch, Max and I give it four paws up! 🐾 Just keep an eye on your pooch during transition – they might need a bit time before adjusting completely to any new diet, even a top-tier one like this.
Happy feeding, guys! 🦴🐶

MemberI’m a fan of the grain-free options and Max’s vet gave us the all-clear, though I know there can be some debate on that front. To me, one of the best parts is that they donate to pet charities with every purchase (a plus in my books).
However, Max had a brief period where he was less than enthusiastic about his meals – but that might have been due to him being particularly spoil-sport during that time than an issue with the food itself (he got back on track soon enough).
Always double-check with your own vet though, every dog is unique and what works for my Max might not directly translate over for your fur friend!

MemberJust seen your post about Heritage Ranch Dog Food. I’ve been feeding it to my Lab, Rocky, for a solid two years now and I have to say, I’m pretty satisfied with it.
Rocky seems to love the taste. I like that it doesn’t have unnecessary fillers like corn or soy and is pretty rich in protein. His coat’s shiny and he seems energetic all the time (but hey, that might just be his nature).
One downside though might be that it’s exclusively available at H-E-B stores. It gets a little annoying if you’re not near one or when shelf stocks are low. But all things considered, I’d say it’s good bang-for-your-buck dog food!
Remember every dog is different, what works for Rocky might not work for yours. So, always test out a new diet on your fur baby before fully switching over! Cheers!

MemberI like that it’s grain-free because Max used to have issues tolerating some other brands we’ve tried before. Also noticed he’s maintaining a healthier weight since the switch. Love that it’s quality food without empty fillers and it doesn’t cost an arm and a leg either!
Only hangup is, it might not work for everyone. Our neighbor’s poodle had a little trouble adjusting to it. But hey, every dog is different, right? Best advice I can give is just start with a small bag and see how your pupper takes to it.
Good luck! Hope this helps you make your decision!

MemberI had recently switched to Heritage Ranch dog food and I’ve gotta say, I see a noticeable difference in my furry friend’s energy levels. Now don’t get me wrong – every dog is different, but mine really seems to love it. She was slightly overweight before and with this change in her diet, she’s started to slim down.
This stuff doesn’t have any of the nasty grain fillers – you know, soy, wheat, all that jazz that some other brands pack into their food. Nada here! And they also run an adoption program alongside their company which is pretty neat in my eyes – shows they genuinely care about our little buddies.
Overall though, always remember one thing – consult your vet before switching foods! They can guide you what is best for your dog’s breed and size. Happy tails!

MemberJust saw your query about Heritage Ranch dog food. My fur baby, Riley, has been on it for a year or so now. I can’t say enough good things!
Firstly, the ingredient list is pretty impressive – lots of real meat, veggies and nutritious grains. No filler stuff that I avoid like the plague! Riley’s coat has never been shinier and he seems to really savor meal times.
Price wise, it’s kind on the purse strings compared to some other brands I’ve tried. A win-win if you ask me.
A friendly tip though – might want to gradually introduce it into your pup’s diet if you decide to switch. Fast changes aren’t always the best for their tummies.
Anyway, Riley gives it two paws up, and so do I. Best of luck finding the right chow for your pooch! 🐾

MemberOh, you’re asking about Heritage Ranch Dog Food, huh? I’ve been feeding my Lab mix this chow for just over a year now and she’s loving it. Prior to that, we had trouble finding a food brand she’d eat without turning her nose up – picky eater alert!
From my experience, their protein content is decent (meat is the first ingredient!), grains are limited, and no artificial junk to worry about. Plus if your pup has a sensitive stomach like mine, this stuff is great. Bella’s digestion’s realy improved since we switched.
Price-wise, it’s middle of the road – not too cheap nor too expensive, strikes the right balance. Availability though… sometimes they run out at my local HEB store which can be inconvenient.
Long story short – it’s good chow in my book. Every pupper is unique though, so just keep an eye on your fur-baby when you make any dietary changes.
Hope this was helpful!
