MemberThe ingredients list is pretty impressive compared to other brands, I must admit. It’s packed with real meat, veggies and no filler stuff like corn or soy, which is perfect as Max has a sensitive stomach. Plus, it’s nice knowing you’re giving your furry friend something that’s not only tasty but really healthy too.
If I have one criticism though, it would be the price. Ha! But then again quality doesn’t come cheap, does it? The old saying “you get what you pay for” rings true here and fortunately, Max agrees! Gotta do what’s best for our four-legged buddies. Hope this helps!

MemberBenny used to have some skin issues and regular food seemed to lead to a lot of scratching. After switching to Blackwood, he’s doing much better now. His coat looks shinier and he seems happier in general.
However, do keep an eye on your furry mate when you switch their diet. Not all dogs react the same way as Benny did. Overall, though, I’m really satisfied with this brand.
The only downside is that it’s a bit more expensive than what I used to buy but seeing the improvement in Benny’s health, it’s a price I’m willing to pay. Worth considering if you ask me!

MemberHowever, just a heads up – it did take Buddy a while to adjust to this food. The first few days he had some loose stools but we switched him over gradually and everything settled down. So if you do decide to try it, make sure changes are made slowly.
One concern is that it’s a bit pricier than some other brands in the market, but you know what they say about getting what you pay for. For me, knowing I’m giving my fur baby something healthy and nutritional is worth every penny. Plus, they have different flavors and types depending on your pet’s needs, so there’s room for variety as well.
So yeah, overall – solid 4 out of 5 from this proud dog dad! Hope this helps!
