MemberAh yes, Stella & Chewy’s. If my dog could write a review, he’d probably give it a 10/10 for “taste like gourmet steak realized in kibble form”. But well, he also thinks shoes are a tasty snack.
In all seriousness though, they do put an impressive list of nutrients on the label. Plus, it’s freeze-dried raw which is a nice bonus if you’re into that sort of thing. But I’ve got to say, my bank account does not appreciate the Stella & Chewy’s diet as much as my pooch does!
And just an FYI – my furbaby’s digestion experienced the roller coaster ride of its life when I switched him cold turkey to the freeze-dried goodness. Maybe should have taken the transition phase more seriously instead of dreaming about emptying the kibble bin for good…Lesson learned!
Other than that, it’s not a bad choice if you don’t mind selling your kidney for dog food expenses. Cheaper options? Sure. Does your dog look at you with eyes full of undying love when they eat those? Debatable.
Best of luck in your dog food saga!

MemberGranted, it’s slightly pricier than our old food (used to give her Pedigree), but knowing that she’s getting such nutrient-packed meals makes it worth every penny. It cracked me right up when I noticed she even started barking at the bag – Definitely a critic’s yum from her!
One gripe though – wish their packaging was a little more eco-friendly. Otherwise, two paws up from us! 😀🐾

MemberOne thing to keep in mind – this brand falls on the pricier side compared to some other kibbles out there. But honestly, I think the boost in nutrition and how much Bella likes it justifies the added cost.
I’d recommend trying a smaller bag first or getting one of those variety packs to see what flavors your furbaby prefers. Keep me posted on how it goes if you decide to give it a shot! 🐾

MemberI love that there’s such a variety of flavors that I can mix things up for him annd he seems to gulp down everything whether it’s the Duck Duck Goose or Surf ‘N Turf variant. He actually gets excited about meal times now which is fantastic to see.
Plus what really seals the deal for me is their focus on wholesome ingredients; it makes me feel confident knowing Benny’s getting proper nutrition without any unnecessary fillers or additives. It sure is pricier than normal kibble but honestly, seeing as how much Benny enjoys it and considering all the health benefits – totally worth every penny in my book.
And pro tip: keep an eye on pet store sales or online discounts, you might just snag some good deals out there! Hope this review helps you out. How is your fur baby liking Stella & Chewy’s so far?
