But (there’s always a but), if your fur-baby has a sensitive stomach it might not be the best. My neighbor’s cat struggled to adjust – something about grain content, I believe. Just goes to show you, there’s no one-size-fits-all solution in the kitty culinary world!

Always important to see what works for your specific cat. Maybe give it a try and see how your little feline responds? They could end up loving it just like mine does! 🐱🍽️

I’ve been using Meow Mix for my fur babies, Whiskers and Marmalade, for close to two years now. They’re both mix breeds, if that’s even a thing in the cat world haha. 🐾

I have to say, they absolutely love the stuff! I first switched because one of my buddies recommended it, and I haven’t looked back since. Not only do they enjoy meal times more than ever but also their coats look visibly healthier and shinier.

But you know what clinched it? W & M didn’t even have any bad reactions or digestive issues during the overlap from old food to Meow Mix. That’s rare as rocking horse poo in cats, am I right? πŸ˜‚

One thing I’d recommend though – keep a keen eye out for changes when introducing any new food. Not all kitties are created equal!

Give it a go, and share how your furry companions like it! πŸ˜»πŸ‘

The upside is that it’s budget-friendly annd readily available in most grocery stores. My cats seem to like the taste too, go figure!

But on the downside, I’m not super impressed with its ingredients. The main proteins come from vague sources (like “meat by-products”), and it includes a fair amount of grains and fillers.

Sorry to be a downer but if you’re looking for something really nutritious for your kitty, there are definitely better options out there. Might have to dig a little deeper though. Remember, what you feed them really impacts their health in the long run!

On the plus side, I’ve noticed that his coat is shinier since we started with Meow Mix – could be the rich Omega-6 fatty acids they advertise? πŸ€” Anyway, every cat is different so test out a few flavors to see which one your kitty prefers. It’s moderately priced so won’t dig a hole in your wallet. Because trust me, you CAN put a price on love but you CAN’T starve your cuddly overlord, right?! πŸ˜½πŸ™ƒ

Anyway, best of luck finding the perfect feast for your feline friend! Let us know how it goes.

I think what I truly appreciate about this cat food is the range of flavors they offer – chicken, tuna, salmon, and turkey. Great to keep things interesting without upsetting their tummies. Plus, it’s not just taste; Meow Mix packs a real nutritional punch too. It’s a solid source of vitamins and minerals which definitely gives me some peace of mind as a pet parent.

The only downside I’ve noticed is that it can make their breath a bit funky but honestly, is there any cat food that doesn’t do that? A quick brush or dental treat takes care of that issue pretty easily.

There’s been some talk about grain-by products in the ingredients list but my vet assures me that cats can handle a proportionate amount just fine.

In summary, if you’re looking for an affordable and nutritious option that your kitty will likely enjoy, you might want to give Meow Mix a try. Remember thogh, each furbaby is different so monitor them after trying any new food brand!

On our side of things – the ingredients list isn’t too shabby either! A decent amount of protein and some necessary vitamins are definitely a plus.

Just be on the lookout if you have a furball with a sensitive tummy. Some kittos could end up doing the ‘technicolor yawn’ routine after chowing down due to the grain content. Minor hiccup in an otherwise winner feed.

Experiment with portions, folks! Big thumbs up from us here in Calypso-land! 🐾😸

I like that it’s not just all chunks or gravy but a mix of both. Gives some variety and makes it a bit more enjoyable for the cat, I guess. Plus, they have a decent range of flavors to keep things interesting.

In terms of ingredients, I’d say it’s middle-of-the-road. Not top shelf, but definitely not bargain basement either. If you’re on a budget or if your cat isn’t super picky, then it’s definitely worth a shot.

Oh yeah, word of caution – once you open a can, that seafood smell is *strong*, especially the tuna flavor! Don’t open one before someone visits unless you want them to leave with ‘eau de fish’! πŸ˜‚

Anyway, hope this helps. Every cat is different so trial and error is key!

The moment I poured it into their dish, their eyes lid up; it was almost like Christmas morning for them! They dove in right away and didn’t stop until the bowl was empty. Definitely a sight to behold after constant rejection of other brands.

On the nourishment side of things, they seem really healthy since switching. Their coats have never looked better and they’re just as frisky as ever. Plus, it doesn’t smell quite as gnarly as some cat food out there when you open the bag – that’s definitely a plus on my side!

So yeah, passed the Kitty Test in this household. As long as they’re happy and healthy, Meow Mix is okay with me!

On a more crucial note, the ingredient list is pretty decent – a good mix of poultry and fish products, veggies and some added vitamins and minerals. As a thoughtful cat parent, I cross-verify these things before bringing anything into my pantry.

Now here’s the fun part – the varieties! They’ve got so many flavors and textures to choose from. It’s like throwing a mini food festival for their taste buds. 😜 The ‘Seafood Medley’ flavor seems to be an all-time hit with my kitties though 🐟🍀.

That said, in case your fluffball has some specific dietary needs or allergies, you might want to check with your vet before switching. All in all, I’d say give Meow Mix a shot and see how your kitty likes it! Paw-five from mine to yours! 🐾

I’ve been buying Meow Mix for my fur baby, Fluffy, for the past year or so. I gotta be honest, the price is super tempting! It’s definitely one of the cheaper brands on the market. Plus, Fluffy seemed to enjoy it initially.

Trouble started when she began putting on too much weight. After doing some research and consulting with our vet, turns out that Meow Mix doesn’t quite have the nutritional balance our feline friends need. There are way too many fillers like corn and wheat in the ingredient list – not exactly prime cuisine for a predator like a cat.

In terms of digestion, Fluffy started having a few issues there as well. Nothing major, but enough to get me worried. Swapped over to a higher protein brand (a bit pricey, but worth it) and she has been doing just fine.

So while the price of Meow Mix may be appealing, keep in mind that cheap isn’t always better when it comes to your pet’s health. Not saying it’s harmful or anything but I’m personally not going back anytime soon.

Anyway, that’s just my two pennies on Meow Mix! Every fur baby is different so maybe other cats react better to it? Would love to hear other opinions!

    Stay pawsome,

However, it’s akin to us humans indulging in a bag of Doritos. Sure, they taste great going down annd momentarily satisfy hunger pangs (or late night munchies) but can we survive healthily on Doritos alone? The nutritional content is questionable at best and, long-term, not exactly ideal for maintaining good health.

Gizmo would eat Meow Mix till kingdom come if he could, couch potato style. But as his official food monitor, aka the steward of his wellbeing, I keep it as an occasional treat rather than a main meal.

Sure does make me popular in Gizmo’s eyes though – imagine being hailed as the hero who delivered a bag of Doritos for dinner! So if you’re gunning for your furball’s undying love – oh by all means, Meow Mix away. But maybe spare a thought for kitty’s waistline and long-term health too? It’s just something to ponder while you’re reveling in those sweet yet fleeting moments of cat-worship that follow post-Meow Mix feeding!

Though I must say, for a change or perhaps better nutrition, I sometimes mix it up with a bit of wet food, keep ’em on their toes you know. Gives them some variation and moisture in their diet. But overall, 8 out of 10 from me for Meow Mix – cats love it, wallet loves it – win-win!

Just remember, each kitty is unique and what works for mine may not work for yours. Have you tried any other brands or types of food? Always interested to hear what works for others!
