MemberI’ve been using Grandma Lucy’s for my golden retriever, Benny, for a few months now and he seems to love it. Not just digging in, but cleaning the bowl kind of love! What I really appreciate is the quality of the ingredients – you can actually see bits of freeze-dried veggies and meats. It does take a little more prep time than kibbles since you have to mix it with water and let it rehydrate, but to me, it’s totally worth it knowing exactly what I’m feeding my fur-baby.
The only downside might be the price point – it’s a bit higher compared to some brands out there. But hey, if it means better health for Benny (and fewer expensive vet visits in the long run), I consider it a solid investment. Hope this helps anyone considering making the switch to Grandma Lucy’s for their pooch! 🐾

MemberWow, haven’t we all heard so many good things about Grandma Lucy’s dog food? Took the plunge last month and started my bulldog Jerry on their Pureformance Chicken formula. Let me tell you – Jerry absolutely loves it! Scoffs it down like it’s the best thing in the world!
The ingredient list is super impressive too – I mean, U.S sourced free-range chicken as the prime ingredient? It doesn’t get any better than this folks! Plus, no wheat or corn? Perfect for dogs with sensitive stomachs.
But what really made me a fan was seeing the positive changes in Jerry. He’s got this gleam in his eyes and his coat? Shinier than it’s ever been! Sure, it’s a little pricier than your average supermarket brand, but considering the premium quality ingredients and how much Jerry enjoys each meal, I reckon it’s good investment for our furry babies’ health.
If you’re pondering whether to give Grandma Lucy’s a shot, here’s one happy customer encouraging you to go for it! Your pupper will thank you. 😉
juts remember, every dog is different and may respond differently too. Some switching-over problems are normal. Just go slow with blending new food into their old diet to make things smoother.
Can’t wait to hear about your pup’s experiences with Grandma Lucy’s! Cheers to a healthier dog diet! 🎉

MemberI’ve been using Grandma Lucy’s for my golden retriever, Daisy, for about 6 months now and let me tell you – she loves it! The ingredients are top-notch and I appreciate the fact that it’s grain-free.
The prep can be a little messy, but honestly, what isn’t when it comes to dogs? Plus, it’s worth it knowing Daisy’s getting a balanced diet. She had some skin issues and ever since switching to this brand, they’ve improved significantly.
A little heads up thogh, it is kind of pricey compared to run-of-the-mill kibble. But if you ask me, the extra bucks are worth the peace of mind knowing that we’re feeding our fur baby good stuff. And yes, I’ve officially become “that” dog parent (ha!).
Anyhoo, Daisy gives two paws up for Grandma Lucy’s so it gets an A+ in our book. If you’re considering switching your dog’s feed or looking into healthier options, I’d definitely recommend giving this one a go.
Catch ya later!

MemberI opt for the Artisan Chicken, because my fur baby is a bit of a fussy eater. Loves his chicken-based grub! Definitely more expensive than other brands, but what won me over was the whole ‘quality ingredients’ deal. I mean, free-range chicken? Hello! It’s like I’m giving him homemade food without spending hours in the kitchen.
So yeah, my vote goes for Grandma Lucy’s! Plus you can easily reseal the bag for freshness – bonus points there! Anyone else have experience with their different flavors?

MemberI’ve got to say I’m not too impressed with Grandma Lucy’s dog food. My bull terrier, Rocky, normally scarfs down his meals but he was pretty resistant to this brand. Plus, the smell… yikes! It’s like a bizarre fruity/earthy mix that hangs around long after feeding time.
The ingredients seem all-natural and they hype up their hormone and antibiotic-free promise which is great, but let’s be honest, if our dogs won’t eat it what’s the point? The price isn’t friendly either—it feels overpriced for such a product.
I’ve heard some folks raving about this brand though, so maybe it’s a hit-or-miss thing. In any case, I’d suggest trying out a small bag first before investing in bulk. To each their own though, every pooch is different!
Hope this helps.08/23/2024 at 9:26 PM #2764friendly-dogdad-765
MemberBut hey, it’s not all glitter and gold crumbs here folks. After a week or so on this haute cuisine canine feast, my wallet feels lighter than my gym-loving buddy after his record-breaking ‘starvation diet’. In short: it ain’t cheap. But can you put a price on gourmet delight for your pup? If you ask Fido… not a chance.
So, yes. It’s yummy yums galore for the mutts but potentially bankruptcy avenue for us humble owners trying to treat our furry besties like kings and queens! If Daddy Warbucks is your next of kin, go forth and indulge your pooch. For the rest of us mere mortals trading our couch change for fancy treats, be warned – this stuff may result in severe side-eye from your bank manager.
Just remember though – happy dog equals happy life… right?? 😅

MemberThat said, it’s definitely a bit pricier than some other brands out there, but for the boost in energy and improved coat condition (I swear she shines now), it’s totally worth it in my book! Also, gotta say, their Macanna formula is a hit at home! Definitely give it a go if you haven’t yet.
Just remember each pooch is unique so what works for my Bichon might not be universal; but sincerely recommending based on our experience. Can’t beat the peace of mind from high-quality grub for our four-legged pals! Happy feeding!

MemberI mean, sure it’s a bit pricier than some other brands but honestly, I think it’s worth it. Plus, the whole rehydrating process isn’t as painful as it sounds. Hot water, wait 15 minutes and bam, dinner is served! The little lady gobbles it up before I even have time to refill my coffee mug!
One thing to keep in mind thogh– hydration is key with this food because of its freeze-dried format. So ensure your pup drinks enough water if you’re switching over to Grandma Lucy’s. Anyway, that’s my two cents on the matter!

MemberThe dehydrated approach to dog food is pretty neat, too – you add warm water in a 1:1 ratio so it’s super easy and quick to prepare. Plus it kinda feels like I’m cooking for him (which I think he appreciates – ha!). At first, the smell was a bit overpowering (maybe ’cause it’s full of natural ingredients) but you kinda get used to it over time.
Price-wise yeaahhhh… it’s slightly expensive compared to other brands but once I saw how Max thrived on this food, I didn’t mind the extra cost. Guess it all adds up to peace of mind knowing your fur baby is getting top-quality food.
I’d recommend trying out a small bag first juts in case your pup has different tastes or any food sensitiveness – you never know with these guys. All in all, though, definitely two paws up from Max and me! 🐕🦺💕

MemberIt might be on the pricier side compared to some other brands I’ve tried, but seeing how much Rufus loves it and how it’s improved his overall health, eases any buyer’s remorse. Words from the wise though; make sure you’re storing it properly. Learnt the hard way that if moisture gets into the bag its quality can degrade quite quickly.
Hope this helps!
