One highlight for us was definitely their “Acana Regionals Meadowland” blend. It’s packed with free-run chicken, turkey, annd fish which seems like a real feast for my fur baby. Energy levels seem higher and he can’t wait to chow down at meal times – always takes it as a sign of good food!

Just a piece of advice though, as with any new food make sure to transition slowly if you decide to switch. Sudden changes could upset your doggie’s digestion. Anyway, just thought I’d throw in my two cents. Let me know how it goes if you do decide to give it a shot! Happy feeding 🐾

I recently switched my pup over to Acana dog food and I’m extremely happy with the results so far. She’s a finicky eater and was having some stomach issues with her previous food, but we’ve seen a big change since the swap. Her coat is glossier, she seems to have more energy, and above all, no more tummy troubles!

They’ve got a variety of recipes too which is pretty neat, every once in a while I’ll switch it up for her so she doesn’t get bored. Another thing worthy of mention, they source their ingredients locally here in Canada and prioritize nutritional balance so that gives me confidence.

The only downside I’d say is the cost, it’s pricier than most brands out there but in my humble opinion, worth every penny given how much it’s improved my girl’s overall health and wellbeing. Better safe than sorry when it comes to what our pups are ingesting, right?

Hope this helps anyone considering switching over to Acana!
    Cheers!

Max did have some loose stool the first week or two when we switched from his old food to Acana, but that’s something you might expect when changing dog foods. Got better after a while. Can’t say anything bad about the quality of ingredients they use – I mean it’s grain-free and packed with protein and veggies. Pretty spot on!

But… it ain’t exactly what you’d call cheap! Still, for me, Max’s health is number one priority so if a few extra bucks means better ingredients and a happier pup – I’m up for it. It’s all about what works best for our furry pals, right? So yeah, all in all I’d rate Acana as top-notch dog food. Would recommend giving it a go if you’re considering a switch!

I’ve been using Acana for my golden retriever for about a year now, and honestly, I can’t recommend it enough. The ingredient list is pretty impressive – all high-quality stuff like free-run poultry, wild-caught fish, and cage-free eggs. No weird fillers or artificial additives. Pretty solid, if you ask me.

The other thing I love about Acana is that they have a variety of recipes to choose from based on your dog’s needs. My boy has a sensitive stomach and the “Light & Fit” formula works wonders for him. Plus, he seems to love the taste which is always a big win!

Price wise – yes, it’s a bit more expensive than some other brands out there. But honestly, I’ve found that you get what you pay for in terms of quality and nutritional value.

The only downside I can think of is availability – sometimes my local pet store runs out since it’s quite popular. So I’ve started buying it online just to make sure I always have a bag at hand.

Overall, give Acana a shot if you’re considering it. It’s done my fur buddy a world of good!

Just remember though – all pups are different so what works great for mine might not work the same for yours. Always watch your pup and consult with your vet if necessary!

    Good luck!

Now to be fair, Lucy’s never really been picky about her food but since switching to Acana, we noticed some great changes. Her coat has been shinier than ever and she seems more energetic during our daily walks.

Another upside is that Acana uses some pretty top-notch ingredients. It always feels good knowing I’m putting nutritious food into her bowl.

Of course, it might seem a bit pricy — I mean it’s definitely not the cheapest on the shelf— but in my opinion, it’s totally worth it. Quality costs a bit more, but in the long run, you end up saving on vet bills because your pup is well-nourished with fewer health issues.

Every dog is different though, so what works amazingly for Lucy may not work as well for your furry friend. But give it a shot; maybe your four-legged companion will love it as much as mine does! Good luck with your decision!

Oh, Acana dog food? I’ve been using it for about six months now for my golden retriever, Max. Taste wise, well, I haven’t tried it myself (haha), but Max seems to love it.

It’s packed with proteins annd I’ve noticed how his coat has gotten shinier and he’s more active than ever. That said, it IS a bit pricier than other brands out there. But considering it’s grain-free (Max has a sensitive stomach) and uses fresh regional ingredients without extra fillers or preservatives, I think it’s totally worth the extra dollars.

Depending on your dog’s dietary needs and your budget though, it could be a good fit. Do check the ingredient list for any potential allergens your dog might have just to be safe. Happy dog parenting!

I gotta say, the quality ingredients make a difference. Daisy has always been a finicky eater but she dives right into this stuff like there’s no tomorrow. Plus her coat looks shinier than ever!

The only snag is that it’s pricier than some other brands. So if you’re on a budget, this might be a bit of a stretch.

Also…get ready for some more regular poop walks as it really gets their digestion moving. If you ask me though, totally worth it. Every dog is different though, so give it a go and see how your fur buddy feels!

    Hope this helps!

So, I’ve been using Acana for about 6 months now and honestly, I’ve got nothing but praise. My lab, Charlie, just loves it. His coat’s gotten more shiny and definitely feels healthier to touch. Even his energy level has picked up a bit – I’m having trouble keeping up with him on our walks nowadays!

The ingredients are high quality from what I can tell – lots of good protein sources like chicken and beef; none of that unidentified “meat meal” stuff other brands use. Plus, they add in some fruits and veggies (hello, antioxidants!) which is just icing on the cake as far as I’m concerned.

Of course, it’s a bit pricier than bargain brand kibble but considering the health benefits for my boy Charlie, it’s totally worth it. I’d definitely recommend trying Acana if you’re thinking about giving your doggy’s diet an upgrade.

Quality food = happy pooch 🐾 That’s my motto!

Honestly, one of the best things about Acana is that they use regionally sourced ingredients all free from artificial preservatives. Plus, she seems to love the taste which is a bonus! It’s definitely on the pricier side though. But you know what they say, you get what you pay for. For me, Daisy’s health is worth every penny.

The only downside? The high protein content might not sit well with all pups. Daisy had a bit of a rumbling tummy at first but adjusted over time. Always worth checking in with your vet before making a switch!

    Hope this helps!

I was a bit hesitant at first because Acana is pricier than some other brands, but seeing how well Benny has been doing on this food, it’s absolutely worth every penny. The ingredients seem top-notch as well – lots of real meat and very low in grains and fillers which was critical for Benny’s sensitivities.

Just remember though, each dog is unique and what works perfectly for one might not suit another. Always consult with your vet or a pet nutritionist before making a major diet change for your pooch!

So that’s my two cents on Acana. Has anyone else here had similar positive experiences with other premium dog food brands out there?

I’ve been using Acana for about a year now and honestly, my golden retriever couldn’t be happier. My vet recommended it because of its high-quality ingredients with a great focus on protein. I’ve noticed a real difference in my dog’s energy level and coat health since switching.

The price is a bit steep compared to other brands, but personally, I think it’s worth it considering the benefits. Once I saw how much he loved it, and once I’d done some research on the nutrients included – no fillers or artificial stuff – I stuck with it. There are different flavors available too, so I switch it up every now and then to give him something new.

Of course, each dog is unique and what works for my fur buddy might not work for yours! Always good to ask your vet if you’re not sure or your dog has any special dietary needs.

    Hope this helps!
