But do keep an eye on your pooch when you first make the switch. My girl had a minor upset stomach for a day or two but settled down nicely once she got used to it. Every dog is different though, so just watch out for any changes in their behavior or digestion.
annd as always, check with your vet before making any drastic changes to your dog’s diet. They know your fur baby better than anybody and can give the most personalized advice. So yeah, overall it’s a thumbs up from me for Blue Buffalo 🐾👍!
I’ve been feeding my golden retriever, Ellie, the Blue Buffalo Wilderness formula for about 6 months now. It’s one of their grain-free recipes with high protein content – perfect for a high-energy, outdoors-loving pup like Ellie!
We started switching her over after she got terrible allergies from her previous food, and since then there’s been no looking back. Her coat is so much shinier, and she’s scratching way less! Plus, she can’t seem to get enough of it at mealtimes – her bowl is practically licked clean!
That being said, it’s important to remember every dog is different and what works for Ellie might not be the solution for your fur baby. Some dogs can have a sensitive tummy reacting to high-protein diets. Work with your vet if you’re thinking of making any major changes to your dog’s diet juts to cover all your bases.
And oh yeah., price-wise it’s definitely a bit pricier than other brands on the market but in our case, we felt like the benefits made it worth the extra coinage.
