Just remember though, every dog’s different so what works for Bonnie may not work for your boy/girl. It’s always smart to start with a smaller bag, see how they take to it before going all in. Personally, I find the ingredient list pretty solid for a ‘store brand’.

Oh and one more thing, I recommend you give it time before making conclusions. The transition might upset their tummy a tad at first but for most pooches it should settle in a week or two.

Hope this is helpful – give your four-legged pal a pat from me!

Gotta say, I’ve been using Kirkland’s dog food for my two fur buddies for a couple of years now and I’m more than satisfied with the results. Label-wise, their ingredients look solid. Mainly real meat and veggies, without those scary-sounding chemicals you find in so many cheaper brands.

I’ve got a Border Collie who’s a little bit energy hyper and a Bulldog that is too chill for his own good. Both seem to dig the taste though – That grayish kibble doesn’t sit in the bowl for too long, I tell ya!

Healthwise, haven’t noticed any major changes but that’s not necessarily a bad thing. My Collie’s coat seems shinier but might also be because of the omega oil supplement we started giving her.

The price is another upside! Quality nutrition that doesn’t break the bank? Sign me up!

Just keep in mind, every pup is different. What works great for mine might not fit yours. Best you can do is try it out and see how your four-legged friend reacts.

You asked about Kirkland dog food, right? I’ve been feeding it to my Rottweiler, Bella, for about 4 years now. She seems to love the taste and I gotta admit, her coat looks healthier than ever.

I think they’re using pretty solid ingredients because there’s no wheat, soy or corn – which is always a plus in my books! And it doesn’t break the bank either; we’re talking quite reasonable price for such quality.

But just a heads up…Bella had a bit of gas when we first switched over. Dunno if it was the food or just something else (she’s known to snack on things she finds in the yard) but it settled down after a few weeks…probably her getting used to the new grub!

Just keep your eyes open and see how your fur baby reacts. Every pup is different, but all in all, I’m happy with Kirkland.
    Hope this helps!

Just thought I’d throw my two cents in about Kirkland dog food since we’ve been using it for a bit now. We have a picky Golden Retriever annd I gotta admit, she seems to really enjoy the taste of Kirkland’s stuff.

Ingredient wise, it seems good to go – grain-free options, real meat listed as first ingredient, and no funky by-products that we typically try to avoid. Plus, I dig the fact there’s variety – different formulas for puppies, adults, and seniors. Bonus point on them adding probiotics!

But remember folks, every dog is a unique furball with their own preferences and dietary needs. While Kirkland’s been great for us (and more affordable than some options), might be worth giving your vet a quick call before switching over completely just to be on the safe side.

    Cheers!

I’ve been feeding my golden retriever, Bella, Kirkland Dog Food for about two years now and can say she’s in excellent shape. She absolutely loves their Chicken, Rice & Vegetable formula. Now, I had also tried the Lamb and Rice version, she wasn’t as enthusiastic about it – but hey, each dog has its own palate, right? Ha!

One thing that really sold me is the high-quality ingredients. It’s packed with real protein sources (chicken or lamb depending on the formula) and a healthy mix of fruits and veggies too. Plus, they don’t use any of those artificial preservatives or flavors that you find in some cheaper brands, which is a biggie for me.

Price-wise, it’s pretty fantastic considering the quality. Only minor drawback is you can only buy it at Costco – but in my case, it just means adding to my usual haul every couple of months.

All in all, I rate Kirkland highly – Bella is healthy and happy, and that gives this stuff a double-pawed seal of approval from us!

Of course, remember what works for one pup might not work for another. Always monitor dietary changes and consult your vet if you notice anything odd. Cheers!

I gotta tell ya, for the price you’re paying, the quality they deliver is pretty impressive. Ingredients include real chicken along with fruits annd veggies – No fillers or weird additives. Plus, it’s grain-free which is a big plus if your pooch has allergies.

But remember, every dog is different and what works best for Buster might not work best for your furry friend. So always consult with your vet to pick the best diet plan!

Good luck and keep those tails wagging! 🐾

On our last vet visit, she commented that Max was looking particularly healthy which made me feel good about my choice. Haven’t noticed any negatives per se – no adverse reactions or anything like that. And plus, the price point is definitely an added bonus.

However, every dog’s unique so it might not be everyone’s cup of tea. What works for some may not work for others. So I’d say, go ahead and give it a shot. If your pup likes it and doesn’t have any issues, then stick with it!

In terms of ingredients, it’s pretty balanced: real chicken, whole grain brown rice, veggies. I did have a moment of concern because I heard rumors about it causing digestive issues in some pups but Rex has had no such problems so far. It might vary dog to dog so probably best to keep an eye out at first.

Oh, annd as a bit of a bonus, it’s pretty affordable compared to other premium brands out there, which is great for my budget!

Hope this helps someone. Chow for now! 🐾

One of the things I appreciate is that their ingredient list isn’t all fillers. It’s nice to see real meat as the primary ingredient. Plus, Bella has had no digestive issues on this brand which was a problem with some other brands we’ve tried before! No unwanted surprises, if you catch my drift!

That being said, each dog is different and what may work for one may not necessarily be good for another. For instance, if your dog has specific dietary needs or allergies, always check with your vet before making changes to their diet.

Oh, and I almost forgot to mention – the price point is great too! For the quality provided, Kirkland tends to be more affordable than similar brands.

Anyway, hope this helps you out a bit… let us know whatever you decide!
