MemberMax has always been picky with his food but MaeV is one brand he’s never turned his nose up at. I love that it’s grain-free annd filled with high-quality ingredients like salmon or duck for protein, plus the added veggies and fruits. You can tell it’s gourmet level stuff – even smells kinda good if I’m honest haha.
The delivery is also a plus. It comes right to your door. Only hiccup we’ve faced was a late delivery once due to weather issues, but they ironed that out pretty quickly and were super apologetic about it.
As for Max, his coat has gotten shinier than ever and he’s got great energy – he hasn’t been this playful since he was a pup! It’s a bit pricier compared to other brands but judging by the changes in Max, totally worth it in my book. All things considered, two thumbs up for MaeV from us!
Just remember pal, every pup is unique – what works wonders for one might not sit well with another. Always give yours time to adjust and see how they react when trying something new. Cheers!

MemberMerrick’s grain-free variety has real meat _(they offer beef, chicken…even salmon!)_ as the first ingredient in their recipe which is miles better than some brands with unpronounceable fillers at the top of their list. Plus, Buddy can’t seem to get enough of that Texas beef flavor – practically inhales his dinner!
The only drawback I’ve noticed is the price point. It’s a bit on the pricier side compared to other brands but if you ask me, every penny spent on good nutrition for Bud is worth it. All in all, would definitely recommend giving Merrick a shot if you’re considering changing up your fur baby’s food. Your pup might thank you for it!

MemberI switch my German Shepherd, Max, to Pure Balance a few months ago on the recommendation of a friend. Initially, I was skeptical, you know how picky Shepherds can be sometimes! But I gotta say… it’s been really good for him.
One thing that immediately stood out is the ingredients list – it’s all about real wholesome stuff and no cheap fillers or weird by-products. And thank God, no artificial colors or preservatives; don’t see why dogs need that!
But what really won me over is how much Max loves it. He actually seemed more energetic and his coat is looking way better now. He used to have digestive problems fairly often, but that’s nearly vanished since we made the switch.
However, keep in mind, every pup is unique and what works for my Max might not do well with your precious one. Don’t shy away from consulting a vet if you see anything offbeat post-switching foods; they always know best!
Cheers to happy, healthy pups! 🐾

MemberI’ve been feeding my pup Instinct dog food for about 6 months now, and I can definitely see some positive changes! Max’s coat is shinier than ever, he’s stopped scratching as much and his poops are solid – sorry if TMI, but us dog owners know that matters, right?
I was initially skeptical due to the price being a bit steep, but once I saw the grain-free ingredients list, and how they use real meat instead of fillers, I thought it would be worth a shot. Plus, Max just can’t get enough of the chicken flavor.
The only downside is that it took Max a little while to adjust to the new food which made his stomach a bit upset in between. But after transitioning slowly over a few weeks (mixing the old and new food gradually), everything evened out.
Long story short, if you’re thinking about making the switch to Instinct dog food, I say go for it. Just remember to transition your pet slowly if they have a sensitive tummy like my boy Max does!
Cheers,

MemberWhat I realy like though, is the ingredient list. It has some solid stuff like chicken meal, brown rice, and peas. My vet gave it a thumbs up too. Only downside I notice is that it’s a bit pricier than some other options out there.
Overall, if your buddy’s not a fussy eater (and your wallet doesn’t mind), I’d say give Loyall a try. Hope this helps!

MemberI’ve been using Grandma Lucy’s for my golden retriever, Benny, for a few months now and he seems to love it. Not just digging in, but cleaning the bowl kind of love! What I really appreciate is the quality of the ingredients – you can actually see bits of freeze-dried veggies and meats. It does take a little more prep time than kibbles since you have to mix it with water and let it rehydrate, but to me, it’s totally worth it knowing exactly what I’m feeding my fur-baby.
The only downside might be the price point – it’s a bit higher compared to some brands out there. But hey, if it means better health for Benny (and fewer expensive vet visits in the long run), I consider it a solid investment. Hope this helps anyone considering making the switch to Grandma Lucy’s for their pooch! 🐾

MemberJust remember though, every dog’s different so what works for Bonnie may not work for your boy/girl. It’s always smart to start with a smaller bag, see how they take to it before going all in. Personally, I find the ingredient list pretty solid for a ‘store brand’.
Oh and one more thing, I recommend you give it time before making conclusions. The transition might upset their tummy a tad at first but for most pooches it should settle in a week or two.
Hope this is helpful – give your four-legged pal a pat from me!

MemberThe vet said her coat’s looking glossier than ever annd she hasn’t had any noticeable digestion issues. Plus, the big bags they come in are super convenient. You don’t have to rush back to the store every few weeks!
Still, just be aware that every pup is different. Bella lucked out with this brand, but I know a couple of folks whose dogs had minor reactions (upset tummy and the like). My advice is, try it out for a month and see how your fur buddy takes to it! Let their tummies and energy levels be your guide.
Good luck! And give your pup an extra pat for me 😉
