MemberJust spotted your request for a Kal Kan review. My Lab, Rusty, has been on it for about 6 months now. I gotta admit, I was skeptical at first – the price is pretty affordable and you know what they say about “getting what you pay for”.
But honestly, I’ve only seen good things since he’s been eating this brand. His coat is shinier than ever and energy level is through the roof! We haven’t experienced any stomach or digestion issues either which happened with a previous brand (won’t name name but rhymes with “Burina”).
Ingredients-wise, it might not be top-tier with fancy stuff like blueberries or wild-caught salmon but it hits all the basics and Rusty seems to love it.
All in all, I’d say it’s an underrated gem in the dog food world. If you’re on strict budget but still want something nutritious for your pup, give Kal Kan a try. But remember every dog is different so keep an eye on how your fur baby reacts over the first few weeks.
Catch ya later & happy feeding!

MemberJust caught your post about AvoDerm annd thought I’d chip in my two cents. My Boston Terrier, Max, has been on it for the better part of a year now, and boy do we love it!
First off, his coat – shiny as a newly minted quarter! I noticed the difference after only a few weeks of switching over. I’m guessing that’s thanks to all the avocado goodness in there – gotta love that Omega-3 and Omega-6, right? His skin issues (the occasional dryness & itchiness) also eased up considerably.
As for digestion… Zero problems here! Max gobbles up both their chicken meal and brown rice formula and the grain-free versions with equal enthusiasm.
Only minor downside is the cost. It’s a tad pricier than our old chow but hey, for the quality of ingredients and overall health benefits for my Max, it’s worth every penny.
Anyway, that’s our experience with AvoDerm so far. Hope it helps in your decision-making 😊.
Till then, tail wags ‘n licks from me ‘n Max! 🐕08/03/2024 at 12:50 AM in reply to: My Sportstrail Dog Food Review – Canine Favourite or Fido’s Flop? #2796Cozy_Terrier_1355
MemberMax’s coat has gotten shinier, he has high energy levels throughout the day, and his bowel movements are also very regular now—don’t want to be gross but that’s an important detail for us pet parents 😅. Plus, on the nutritional end of things, it’s got all the protein and essential vitamins our fur babies need.
And guess what? Max used to be a really picky eater but with Sportstrail, mealtime is now his favourite time of the day!! 👏
One con is the price point might be a tad higher than some other brands out there (for good reason), but I can honestly say, you’re getting bang for your buck. Btw, their customer service is top-notch too—they were super helpful when I had queries about various products.
All in all, two thumbs up! 🐾 Hope this helps any fellow canine enthusiasts out there!

MemberAnd boy, let me tell you! Bella’s coat started looking glossier and she’s got so much more energy now. It’s like she’s a puppy again! Personally, I love how they’re all about using human-grade ingredients. You can definitely see the difference it makes!
The price tag is a bit steep compared to other options but when I think about how much Bella loves it and the quality of stuff they’re putting in there – feels worth it to me.
Always interesting to hear other dog owners’ experiences though!!

MemberI did a fair bit of research before settling on it and I liked that they use premium ingredients like whole meats, fruits, and veggies. No fillers or artificial preservatives either which is great!
It’s a lil’ pricier compared to some brands, but for me, knowing that Lulu is getting a well-rounded diet makes it totally worth it. Her coat has been much shinier since we made the switch and even her vet noticed an improvement in her overall health!
One downside though…TLC’s not available in most physical stores. Hasn’t been an issue for me since I usually shop online anyway, plus they do free home deliveries which is pretty convenient.
Overall, top marks from Lulu and me. Give it a try, your pup might love it! 🐾

MemberJust recently switched my Golden, Bailey, over to Badlands Ranch kibble and thought I’d share my experience. So far, I’ve been fairly impressed! Bailey seemed to take to it instantly – went straight for it as soon as hit the bowl. She can be a rather picky eater but this one is a hands-down favorite for her.
The ingredients listed also seem to be high-quality with no filler materials that you know are bad for your fur-babies. Nice protein count and grain-free which is great since Bailey has a sensitive tummy.
The price does sting a little, won’t lie, but if your budget allows or if you’re up for spoiling your doggo for a change, might be worth considering.
On delivery though, the bag was torn once. I called their customer service and they shipped out another bag pronto, so bonus points there!
That’s about it from me – happy feeding y’all!
06/27/2024 at 3:45 PM in reply to: Looking for a Genuine Blue Buffalo Dog Food Review? Here’s mine. #2266Cozy_Terrier_1355
MemberI’ve been feeding my Siberian Husky, Baxter, the Blue Buffalo Life Protection Formula for about a year now. He seems to really love it, especially the chicken and brown rice recipe. I noticed that his coat has become shinier and much more vibrant since the switch. The vet also commented on his good health during the last checkup.
But fair warning – you have to be careful with portion sizes since it’s higher in protein than some other brands. In the beginning, I made the mistake of giving Baxter too much and it upset his stomach a little. But once I figured out the right quantity, things settled down.
The price might seem a little steep initially, but considering the quality ingredients (real meat being the first one on the list!) and how well Baxter has been doing on it; it’s totally worth every penny to me.
Just keep an eye on your dog after switching food thogh. Every pup is unique so what works for one may not work for another. Good luck!
06/12/2024 at 4:17 PM in reply to: Looking for a Pure Balance Dog Food Review? Check out my experience! #1920Cozy_Terrier_1355
MemberI did see some reviews complaining about changes in the formula, but haven’t noticed anything negative with Sparky so far. With any pet food, I guess it’s all about how your own pup reacts to it. Just keep an eye on their digestion, mood, and general well-being after you switch foods—you know your dog better than anyone else does!
Price point is decent too. A little pricier than some brands, but less than those high-end ones. In my book, if Sparky’s happy and healthy, it’s totally worth it. But hey remember—every dog is different! Reply here if you go ahead with Pure Balance; would love to hear how it works out for your buddy. Keep those tail wags coming!

MemberGotta say, I’ve been using Kirkland’s dog food for my two fur buddies for a couple of years now and I’m more than satisfied with the results. Label-wise, their ingredients look solid. Mainly real meat and veggies, without those scary-sounding chemicals you find in so many cheaper brands.
I’ve got a Border Collie who’s a little bit energy hyper and a Bulldog that is too chill for his own good. Both seem to dig the taste though – That grayish kibble doesn’t sit in the bowl for too long, I tell ya!
Healthwise, haven’t noticed any major changes but that’s not necessarily a bad thing. My Collie’s coat seems shinier but might also be because of the omega oil supplement we started giving her.
The price is another upside! Quality nutrition that doesn’t break the bank? Sign me up!
Just keep in mind, every pup is different. What works great for mine might not fit yours. Best you can do is try it out and see how your four-legged friend reacts.
Stay Pawsitive! 🐾

MemberHey there, fellow dog lovers!
So, I’ve been using Instinct dog food for about 6 months now and let me tell ya, my Golden Retriever, Baxter, is absolutely loving it. The ingredients are top-notch quality – you won’t see any filler items like corn or soy. Just a bunch of whole foods, like real meat as the first ingredient. Plus, they have grain-free options too which was super important for Baxter because he’s got a sensitive stomach.
Also noticed a substantial improvement in his coat – it’s been way shinier since we made the switch. Not sure if all dogs would have the same results though… Baxter is pretty unique! 😉
The only downside I’d say is the price. It’s definitely one of the pricier brands out there but honestly, for me it’s totally worth it knowing my fur baby is getting the good stuff! Anyway, just wanted to pop in and share how much Baxter and I love Instinct dog food.
And remember folks, every doggo is different! What works for Baxter may not be suitable for your pet at all so always chat with your vet before switching up their diet.
Woof ya later! 🐾
06/02/2024 at 12:01 PM in reply to: My Honest Taste of the Wild Dog Food Review: An Adventure in Canine Nutrition #2022Cozy_Terrier_1355
MemberTheir recipes are grain-free which is a plus for us cause our girl’s got some allergies. The ingredients list boasts a variety of proteins–duck, boar, lamb…you name it! Plus fruits and veggies too which means good fiber content. I prefer their “High Prairie” recipe because I feel like bison and venison are so much healthier sources of protein for dogs compared to beef or chicken that are common in most other brands.
Make sure thogh your dog isn’t allergic to any of the ingredients. Also, some people say their pups had upset tummy during the transition phase but ours didn’t have any trouble switching foods (maybe we were just lucky).
All in all, it does run a bit pricier than your supermarket brands but in my opinion, well worth it for the high quality ingredient list.
Hoping this helps with your decision 🙂
05/26/2024 at 6:37 AM in reply to: My Unbiased Pet Pride Dog Food Review: From a Seasoned Owner’s Perspective #2549Cozy_Terrier_1355
MemberI’ve been using Pet Pride dog food for my two Labradoodles, Biscuit and Waffles, for about a year now. So far, I’ve got nothing but positive things to say! The ingredient list is decent with no sketchy fillers; it puts my mind at ease knowing what I’m feeding my fur babies.
One of the biggest wins for me was the change in their coat- glossy and less shedding. Plus, both have been pretty energetic and fit, so it’s agreeing with them on all levels. Price-wise, it’s pretty reasonable too.
Having said that, every dog is different and some can be picky eaters or have sensitive stomachs. Might be a good idea to transition slowly over a week or so if you’re considering making the switch just to make sure it suits your dogs’ dietary needs.
Guess that’s my two cents! Happy feeding!
04/24/2024 at 10:24 AM in reply to: Just Completed a Month on Farmina Dog Food – Here’s My Review #2415Cozy_Terrier_1355
MemberHis coat is shinier than ever, energy levels are high (maybe TOO high! 😉) annd thankfully no more tummy issues that we encountered with other kibbles. It seems to agree with him pretty well. The ingredients list also came off pretty impressive – clear and simple without those hard-to-pronounce filler stuff.
That being said, the price tag does make me wince a bit every time – lucky for Gizmo he’s worth it! Also, availability can be a hit or miss depending on where you live. But compared to most market options, I find it worth the investment considering its quality. But remember each pup is unique and what works for Gizmo might not suit your fur baby.
Does anyone else feed their dogs Farmina? What’s your experience? 🐶🦴
Cozy_Terrier_1355
MemberYeah, it’s a bit pricier compared to others, but quality-wise it’s top-notch in my book. Real meat is their first ingredient and the food is made in the USA – can’t go wrong there! The only downside is that my local pet store sometimes runs out cause apparently it gets sold out fast. So now I make sure to buy enough stock that lasts us a month.
Remember though everyone’s pooch is different so what works for one might not work for another! Always best to check with your vet before making any major changes to your fur baby’s diet. Cheers!

MemberSo, about that Earthborn dog food. I’ve got a 3-year-old Lab named Boomer who’s been on Earthborn for about a year now and he absolutely loves it. The switch from his old food to this one was a breeze – no upset stomachs or anything.
One thing I noticed right off the bat is the quality of the ingredients. I’m no nutrition expert, but you can tell it’s chock-full of natural stuff – veggies, fruits, and good sources of protein. Plus, they have grain-free options which works great for Boomer since he has an intolerance.
His coat has been shinier and softer since we switched over too, which is pretty amazing considering how much he loves romping around in the mud at our local park.
That said, it is a bit pricier than what I used to feed him before. But given its quality and the way Boomer’s overall health seems to have improved, I would say it’s totally worth every penny.
Overall, I’d definitely recommend giving Earthborn a shot if you’re looking for a high-quality dog food that your furry friend will enjoy! juts remember every dog is unique and their dietary needs may vary, so just keep an eye out for any changes when switching to any new brand.
Take care,
