  • Pawstruck is full of quality ingredients that are easy on Buddy’s stomach (he’s had digestive issues in the past). Plus their low-ingredient list means I know exactly what I’m feeding him. The only downside? I think it’s slightly pricier than some other brands – but hey, you get what you pay for, right?

Overall though, from my experience at least, Pawstruck seems solid. Just make sure it fits your pup’s dietary needs annd your budget. Every dog is different after all. Would love to hear others’ experiences with this brand too! Anything for our fur-babies. 🐶❤️

We’ve definitely noticed an increase in his energy levels and his coat’s been looking super shiny too. No tummy issues either, which can be a problem when switching foods.

A little pricey compared to some other brands out there, but you get what you pay for, right? For me, it’s worth investing in the quality of Ziggy’s food – really impacts his health long term.

Hope that helps! Would love to hear others’ experiences just to compare notes 🙂.

in reply to: Gathering Thoughts on Bully Max Dog Food Reviews #3138

Just been feeding Bully Max to my rottie, Max (yeah, it’s a bit funny they share a name) for a couple of months now annd let me tell ya, I’ve noticed some major differences. For starters, his coat is absolutely ACE now! It shines like polished ebony! He also seems to have more energy on our walks, not that he was ever exactly slug-like.

I did the research into it, even though the name seemed extreme at first. Checked into the ingredients and all that jazz and I was pretty impressed – heaps of meat proteins instead of fillers. Got me intrigued so gave it a shot and we haven’t looked back since.

It’s pricier compared to some other brands out there but you’re really getting what you pay for when it comes to nutrients. So far, it’s been totally worth every penny seeing Mac thriving like this.

But again, all dogs are different my friend, what works for Mac may not work for your doggo. Always good to talk with your vet if you’re looking to make diet changes. Good luck!

I did some digging into the ingredients, and it’s all good stuff: no grain, no artificial colors or flavors. It’s primarily made of real meat too, which is a big bonus in my book.

Only downside? It’s a bit pricey compared to some other brands out there. But considering how well my Lab’s taken to it, I’ve gotta say it feels worth the splurge. 👍

Remember that each dog is different though. Always best you try a small pack first and see how your pup reacts before going all in.

My Golden Retriever, Daisy, and I are huge fans of BIXBI dog food. Before we switched over, she used to be a really picky eater. But let me tell you, her face lights up every time she sees me pull out the BIXBI bag now.

I particularly love that all their ingredients are high-quality and sourced here in the USA – it really gives me peace of mind knowing exactly what’s going into my girl’s tummy. Plus, their wide variety of flavors makes it a hit with Daisy… Beef liver? Salmon? Chicken? Oh boy!

It’s on the pricier side compared to other foods out there but for us, Daisy’s health is worth every penny. So if you’re looking for a healthy option without all those weird additives and fillers, I highly recommend Bixbi. Your furball will thank you! 👍🐾 Keep them tails waggin’!

So glad you asked! I also was curious and decided to give Katherine Heigl’s dog food brand a try for my little Rottweiler, Zeus. I have to note right off the bat that her brand does boast a great nutritional profile. The ingredient list is clean, simple, with real meat listed as the first item—which is generally a good sign.

Zeus transitioning from his old food was a breeze, and he seems to wolf it down quicker than before. I’ve also noticed his coat looking shinier and he just overall feels more energetic now.

That being said, it’s on the pricier side compared to generic brands. But if you can swing it, and you’re looking for an all-natural and ethically sourced diet for your furry friend—might be worth checking out. Each dog has their own unique dietary needs thogh, so a consultation with your vet isn’t a bad idea first.

    Tails up!

in reply to: “Cesar Dog Food Review: My Real-life Experience” #2733

I’ve been using Cesar dog food for my Spaniel, Buster, for about a year now. It’s been great so far; he always gobbles it right up and his coat is shiny and healthy. I tried a lot of different brands in the past, and Cesar’s definitely seems to sit best with him – fewer bathroom troubles if you get my drift.

One thing I really love is the variety of flavors – chicken, turkey, duck, you name it. Buster never gets bored!

However, I have to admit it’s not exactly cheap compared to some other brands. But hey, I think if it keeps Buster jumping around like a pup (he’s seven!), it’s totally worth a few extra bucks.

Remember thogh, every dog has their own unique dietary needs. So what works for Buster might not work for your fur baby. Always best to give it a trial run and see how your pooch responds.

Good luck in your search for the perfect chow!

Just read your review on the Lone Wolf Ranch dog food. Funny enough, I’ve been feeding my two Labs, Buster and Daisy, the same stuff. No complaints here! My pups inhale their meals like they’re in a hotdog-eating contest lol. Jokes aside, their coats have never looked better—glossy and healthy.

I was a little worried about the fat content initially, but it seems to fuel their endless energy. I did notice, like you mentioned, that it’s a bit pricier than other brands. But hey, anything for our fur babies, right?

Buster had some minor tummy troubles during the switch over from their old chow—but he’s got a somewhat sensitive gut. A week in and all is well now.

Anyways, thanks for your insights! Always great to hear from fellow dog parents out there! Let’s keep the convo going.

    Cheers,
    Thomas & The Tail-Waggers 🐾

We made the switch after a friend recommended this, and wow – what a difference! Boomer’s coat has never been shinier, and his energy level… off the charts! Not to mention his digestive issues seem to have disappeared too.

I love their ingredient transparency too, real meat or fish as the first ingredient with fruits and veggies, no empty fillers. Keeps me feeling good about what I’m serving up for my buddy.

Okay, it comes at a bit of a steeper price than some other dog food brands but if you ask me? Totally worth it. Check out one of Merrick’s grain-free recipes if your pup has similar dietary needs. Give it a couple weeks, you might be just as surprised as we were with the positive changes in your pet. Hope this helps someone out there!

in reply to: Feeding Fido: My Nutra Nuggets Dog Food Review #2202

Just saw your post asking about Nutra Nuggets dog food and thought I’d chip in my two cents. Been feeding my fur baby with it for about a year now. Initially, I was drawn in by its affordability and the fact that it was chicken-based (my Bella’s favorite!).

Once we switched over though, wow! Did we see some changes! Bella has always been picky with her food (diva princess that she is), but she took to Nutra Nuggets like a fish to water. And lemme tell you, her coat’s never looked so shiny before. It’s as if she’s gone through a canine-style makeover!

Of course, every pup is different and what works wonders for one might not do the same for another. So my advice would be to give it a try and keep a close eye on how your pooch responds – both in terms of taste preference and any changes in their health or behavior.

Remember, switching foods should be done gradually for the sake of their tummies. If at any time you notice a negative reaction or change, consult your vet immediately. Hope this helps and take care out there!

The best part for me? The ingredients list is really easy to understand–no shady stuff hidden in there. And since the switch, I’ve noticed his coat is glossier and he’s got lots more energy on our park runs. Plus no more tummy troubles.

Price-wise, it’s a bit on the pricey side if you’re watching your budget but honestly, worth every cent for Berns’ happiness and health. Totally recommend giving it a try if you’re considering it.

The limited ingredient part really seems to do the trick for him. More than anything else, we’ve noticed improved digestion and lesser scratching – a godsend for a pup that was going through itchy skin issues. The thing we like is that it comes in a few different flavors Like Sweet Potato & Fish or Duck & Pea so we can switch things up a bit for him.

However, I gotta say, it is slightly pricier compared to other brands but for us, having our pup healthier and happier makes it worth every penny. I highly recommend giving it a try if you’re dealing with similar allergy issues!

Btw, quick tip – sometimes Amazon runs good deals on Natural Balance dog food. Worth keeping an eye out 👍

Tell me what you decide to go for!

The ingredients look top-notch, real meat is always the first thing listed which is a huge plus point; no unknown “meat meal” stuff. Love the variety too – they’ve got everything from fish to bison! My retriever’s coat started looking more lustrous after we made the switch, so that’s another tick in the box.

But like all things good, it does tend to get pricey over time, especially if you’ve got bigger dogs like mine. And not all dogs may like it right away, I had couple of buddies whose dogs didn’t initially warm up to the new food. So, test it out with a smaller pack if possible.

In a nutshell, worth trying at least once for sure. For those who can handle the price tag, Solid Gold definitely stands up there with other premium brands!

Anyway look at me rambling on about dog food…hope this helps! Woof woof 🐾🐾

What I like most is that its ingredients are human-grade. No compromise on quality whatsoever and the tin smells pretty decent compared to other dog foods. Plus, they offer recipes for all types of dogs regardless of their age or weight. With Maev, I don’t have to worry much about balancing her nutrition needs anymore.

The only hiccup we faced initially was with the delivery service. There were a few delays early on but the folks at Maev seemed to have sorted that issue out now.

Overall, well worth giving it a go in my opinion if you can afford the slight price bump. Remember our furry friends deserve top-notch grub too!

in reply to: My Honest CRAVE Dog Food Review for New Dog Parents #2781

I noticed his coat got shinier after switching to Crave and that’s a healthy sign I can actually see. His energy levels are soaring too! The cost is affordable and you don’t have to sell your soul to feed your fur babies quality stuff. But hey, every dog is different and it’s not a universal solution; still definitely worth giving a try though! 👍🐾
