  • I’ve been using Pawstruck dog food for my Golden Retriever, Max, for about 2 years now. I decided to switch to a more natural, grain-free diet and so far, it’s been a good experience overall. Max loves both the kibble and the wet food varieties. His coat seems shinier, and he’s definitely energetic.

At first, I was worried about the transition since Max can be fussy about his food. But surprisingly, he took to Pawstruck really well! I love the fact that the ingredients are wholesome and high-quality proteins. Plus, they offer a range of flavors which keeps meal times fun for Max.

The only downside might be the cost – it is a bit pricier compared to some other brands in the market. But honestly? With the positive change I’ve seen in Max (and haven’t had any vet visits apart from his usual checks), I think it’s worth every penny! Therefore, if you’re considering a healthier option for your furry friend, you might want wholeheartedly consider Pawstruck.

    Hope this helps!

Just had to jump in on this conversation because I swear by Greenies! My fur-baby, Bailey, is absolutely bonkers for them, and happy day, they suit her sensitive tummy too. Not gonna lie, it took a bit of trial and error to find the right brand. But these guys? 10/10 from us both.

Bailey’s breath improved pretty fast after starting Greenies (much appreciated, let me tell ya!), and her pesky tartar build-up has seriously reduced too. These treats are like a secret weapon for dental care which is always a huge plus.

And the regular sizes aren’t as chunky as some other brands, so don’t expect any leftovers! 😄

Did I mention that they’re easy for her to digest? They’ve done wonders for her overall health and happiness.

That being said, every pup is different – isn’t that part of their charm? 😉 So it might be worth trying a small bag first to see if they sit well with your four-legged friend before fully committing!

    Good luck!

At first, I was a bit skeptical because it’s on the pricier side compared to what I used to buy, but honestly, seeing him thrive on it has been worth every penny. Makes me think you really do get what you pay for with dog food.

One thing to note though — make sure you introduce it to your dogs diet slowly if you decide to switch — I made the mistake of changing his food overnight and let’s just say, Diesel’s gut wasn’t a happy camper. Lesson learned!

All in all though, I’d give Bully Max a big thumbs up! Doesn’t hurt that Diesel wolfs it down like its steak either – picky eaters may apply 🐾👍

However, I did notice that when we first switched him over, he had a bit of tummy upset – but then again, that can happen with any food change so I don’t necessarily put that on Beneful. Probably just needed some adjustment time there.

In terms of nutrition content, it seems pretty solid. It’s not super premium but it certainly doesn’t fall into the “junk” category either. Especially if you’re watching your budget but still want something decent quality for your furbaby, I’d say give it a shot.

But remember every dog is unique – what works for Oscar might not fly with another pup! So keep an eye after making the switch and consult your vet just to be sure everything’s good. Happy dog-parenting! 🐕🐾

But let me tell you something, every dog is different. It took some trial and error to find the right food for Max because he has such a sensitive stomach. So yeah, although WAG worked great for Max (and our wallets too!), I’d recommend trying a small bag first before fully committing.

Hope this helps out! Happy feeding!

I actually switched my lab, Buster, over to Nutrish about a year ago and it’s been great for him. He had some previously dry skin issues and they’ve pretty much disappeared since the switch. His coat is shinier too! He seems more energetic overall.

I started him on the chicken and veggies recipe but have also tried the beef, pea & brown rice one – both seem to agree with him just fine. I like that Nutrish uses real meat as their first ingredient and they don’t include any artificial flavors or preservatives.

The only downside I’ve noticed is the price can be a bit higher than some other brands – but for me, the benefits outweigh this con. At the end of the day, every dog is different so what works for Buster may not work for your pooch. Worth a shot if you’re considering switching, though!

Hope this helps a bit. Happy Dog-Parenting!

Absolutely love BIXBI dog food for my golden retriever, Max. The fact that their line of non-GMO dog food ticks all the right boxes in terms of nutrition has me hooked. I started using it about 6 months ago and can honestly say Max’s coat has never looked shinier; even his energy levels are up!

You know what got me is the range they offer catering to different dietary needs. Max has a sensitive stomach so the “Limited Ingredient Diet” was perfect. Plus, love that they steer clear from fillers or any artificial ingredients – always gives me peace of mind.

The only slight downside is the price point, it is a bit on the high side. But hey, for quality stuff like this, I reckon it’s worth every penny. Anything for our furry friends, am I right? Would recommend giving BIXBI a try if you’re considering switching up your pup’s food!

My oldest, a lab mix named Max, has always had a sensitive tummy. We’ve gone through probably a million different types of food trying to find the one that won’t upset his stomach. After seeing Heigl’s review, I decided to give it a shot and boy, am I glad I did!

I’ve also noticed my dogs’ coats becoming glossier after a month or so on this diet. Not to mention, they seem more energetic during our daily walks – even old Max!

The only downfall would be the price, it’s definitely not cheap. But hey, for quality ingredients and happy dogs how can ya say no? Definitely worth considering if you take your pet nutrition seriously like I do! Keep the tail wags coming 🐾

Oh, you’re asking about Heritage Ranch Dog Food, huh? I’ve been feeding my Lab mix this chow for just over a year now and she’s loving it. Prior to that, we had trouble finding a food brand she’d eat without turning her nose up – picky eater alert!

From my experience, their protein content is decent (meat is the first ingredient!), grains are limited, and no artificial junk to worry about. Plus if your pup has a sensitive stomach like mine, this stuff is great. Bella’s digestion’s realy improved since we switched.

Price-wise, it’s middle of the road – not too cheap nor too expensive, strikes the right balance. Availability though… sometimes they run out at my local HEB store which can be inconvenient.

Long story short – it’s good chow in my book. Every pupper is unique though, so just keep an eye on your fur-baby when you make any dietary changes.

    Hope this was helpful!

Remember it’s always worth keeping an eye on your doggy’s reaction when switching foods though – each pup is different after all. Also, some people might be put off by the price point but honestly? You get what you pay for.

Let just say Luna’s tail wags have been stronger than ever and her coat looks fantastic. Go for it if you are considering BDR food; your four-legged family member might just thank you for it! See ya!

Sam’s coat is shinier than ever and he has a lot more energy compared to before we switched. He hasn’t had any digestive issues either, which was always my biggest concern with trying out new foods. And boy does he love chow down time now, he’ll often finish it all up in no time!

Although it’s a tad pricier than other brands, considering the improvement in Sammy’s overall health, it’s been worth every penny. I’d definitely recommend giving it a try.

Remember every dog is unique! So what works for Sam might not work for every pup out there. It’s always worthwhile to consult with your vet first about large dietary changes.

Good luck finding what works best for your fur kiddo! 🐾

So, I switched my beagle, Max, to ‘Go Solutions’ dog food a few months ago and I’ve gotta tell ya, I’m genuinely impressed! Firstly, it’s grain-free (which is great if your pooch has certain allergies or sensitivities). Initially, I was a bit skeptical as Max can be quite picky. But much to my surprise, he went absolutely tail-wagging crazy over the turkey flavor.

Noticed him having more energy during our walkies, too. And his coat’s looking healthier and shinier than ever before. No digestive issues either, thankfully.

Prices are decent for the quality you’re getting. Plus they got different types of recipes so can really choose what suits your dog best.

Just remember though – every dog is different. What worked wonders for Max may not necessarily do the same for all pups out there. So maybe try a small bag first?

    Hope this helps! Happy feeding!

I’ve been feeding my golden retriever, Cooper, Natural Balance for like, a year now. First things first, Coop literally goes bananas over the taste – he’s partial to the Sweet Potato & Fish formula. As an owner, I was mega drawn to the quality ingredients they brag about on their packaging. Plus, it’s grain-free which is a bonus as we were tackling some allergy problems with Coop.

But here comes the part where my love for Natural Balance takes a bit of a hit. It hasn’t exactly been light on my wallet. Not going to lie – it’s pricey compared to a bunch of other brands. And though I don’t mind spending extra for Cooper’s health, when there are alternatives offering similar nutritional value with a lower price tag, you can’t help but put your thinking cap on.

That being said, every dog is different and what works for one might not for another. It’s all about trial and error before finding that perfect blend of nutrition and affordability!

Hope this gives ya some helpful insights!

in reply to: “Cesar Dog Food Review: My Real-life Experience” #2730

Though it’s a little pricier than the other brands out there, trust me, it’s worth every cent. Opted for the Rotisserie Chicken flavor and man oh man – Max just devours it! I reckon it tastes really good (haven’t tried it myself of course 😄).

So yeah – from my experience, Cesar pet food gets two thumbs (and one excited tail) up!

Just remember that every dog is different, what works for Max might not work for your pup. Happy food hunting! 🐶

in reply to: My Experience with Wholesomes Dog Food: A Review #2444

Just wanted to chime in on this. My golden retriever, Rocky, has been eating Wholesomes dog food for a while now. I really can’t say enough good things about it! He seems to delight in every meal and the ingredients list is pretty impressive.

I appreciate how they put an emphasis on all-natural ingredients without any fillers or artificial stuff. Rocky’s coat has never looked healthier and he has so much more energy these days. A big thumbs up from us both.

The only downside I’ve found is that it’s a bit pricier than some other brands, but you know what they say: “you get what you pay for”. In my opinion, it’s totally worth the extra cost seeing how much Rocky loves it and how good it has been for his health.

Hope this helps! Anyone else had similar experiences?
