MemberI gotta say, it’s been a game changer for us. For starters, he loves the taste – I’ve tried both the chicken and the fish, and he gobbles them up like there’s no tomorrow. His fur has also really improved; it looks shinier, healthier overall. Plus his stools have been more stable which is a plus on our walks (if y’know what I mean).
The only downside? Your pocket might feel it. It’s a bit pricier than some brands out there, but in my opinion, totally worth it if it means better health for my furry friend.
In summary, absolutely recommend Farmina if you’re willing to invest a bit more in your pup’s diet. Though, of course, each dog is different so definitely watch how your pooch adjusts!

MemberI checked with my vet before switching foods – because hey, every dog’s different – but she gave it a thumbs up. Said it was grain-free annd had good protein sources which are both positive points.
The only downside I’ve found is that it’s a bit pricier than some brands, but honestly, I think it’s worth paying a little extra for the quality of this stuff! It seems like they really make an effort with the ingredients and nutrition balance.
Hope this helps with your decision. Keep me posted on what you decide!

MemberBut yup, I too noticed it’s a tad pricier than others. I’ve seen it pointed out here before but in my book, quality pips price any day of the week for my boys. Love peace of mind knowing I’m feeding them something that’s got wholesome ingredients without any of those dreaded by-product meals.
Only hiccup was Lucas had a bit of a tummy issue when we first switched over but it settled after two weeks or so. Probably just them getting used to the switch – happens sometimes with new foods. Benny took to it like a duck to water though!
Bottom line: If you can swing the cost, I’d say go for it. Our furry pals are worth every penny, aren’t they? Just keep an eye on your pup during transition – everyone reacts differently!
Cheers,

MemberI’ve been using Go Solutions for my Golden Retriever for about 6 months now. It’s definitely one of the best on the market if you ask me. Sally (that’s my gal!) really looks forward to meal times unlike with some of the other brands I’ve tried. Her coat is shiny, she’s energetic, and her digestions seems pretty good too – none of that upset tummy business we used to have.
They have a great variety too, you know? Like, there’s something for every breed and age. All natural ingredients and no fillers or by-products which is an absolute win in my book. It’s a bit pricey compared to some other options out there but hey, if it keeps Sally happy and healthy it’s worth every cent. juts thought I’d throw in my two cents!
Hope that helps.

MemberOne of the main reasons I switched was because of how straightforward their ingredient list is. It’s refreshing not to run into a bunch of hard-to-pronounce stuff that makes you wonder about what you’re actually feeding your pup. Plus, it’s grain-free which works great because Benny has a bit of a sensitive stomach.
Price-wise, it pretty much falls right in the middle compared to other brands… not too cheap that you question the quality, but certainly won’t break the bank either.
In terms of variety though, I wouldn’t say they have an extensive range. We usually alternate between their chicken and pea recipe, and the salmon one. Benny doesn’t seem to mind at all though!
All in all, we’re quite happy with Wholesomes so far. It might be worth getting a smaller bag first to see if your furball likes it as well! Every dog is different after all. Hope this helps!

MemberI’ve tried Kal Kan for my pup, a spry little Beagle named Bella. Honestly, I didn’t find it dazzling, but it’s not too shabby either. All depends on what you’re looking for in your dog’s food.
First off, Bella seemed to like the taste – wolfed it down without blinking an eye. On the downside, the ingredient list is more fillers than high-quality protein. It did a bang-up job in keeping her energy levels up and maintaining her weight which matters to me with Beagle’s tendency towards obesity.
On the flip side, I noticed that her coat was a little less shiny than usual and she had some minor digestive issues in the beginning. Not really a big deal but something to pay attention to.
Pricewise, Kal Kan fits comfortably into the budget category, so if you’re watching your pennies this could be a solid choice.
So yep, mixed feelings here! Just keep an eye out for any unusual reactions from your fur-baby if you decide to try it!
All the best!
