MemberI’ve been feeding my furball the TLC brand for a good while now, and seriously, her coat has never been shinier! 👌 They’ve got this magical ingredient list that’s all about probiotics, superfoods, omega-3s – the works.
Honestly, I was skeptical at first (like that time a late-night infomercial tried to sell me on Chia Pet Herb Gardens 😅). But I’ve really seen improvements in her energy and digestion – no more tummy upsets or sluggish afternoons. Can we get a WOOF-WOOF for that?!
Now pricing… it’s not exactly the saving grace of our wallets, but hey, isn’t our furry pals’ health worth every penny? So in my humble dog-lover opinion, TLC gets two big thumbs up. But remember – each pup is unique and might react differently. And whatever you choose, make sure you’re handing out belly rubs generously! That’s the best ‘food’ there is! 😊👍💕🐾

MemberThe fact that it’s grain-free is a big plus for us – clears up some minor allergy issues Luna was having. And you gotta love the high protein content. Helps keep Luna’s energy level consistent for our daily runs 😀 Oh and talking about goodies, how can we forget those probiotics! Drew me in like bees to honey.
Bit on the pricey side though, not gonna lie. But hey, if Luna’s happy and healthy…who am I to complain? 😉 Just thought it’s worth mentioning.
Another thing that got me sold on Nulo was that they’re pretty transparent about their ingredients (Got this habit of scanning ingredient lists after Luna developed allergies). And so far, no weird stuff or unpronounceable mystery ingredients popping out 👀
Long story short: It gets a solid thumb up from me and a wagging tail from Luna👍🐾 Might be worth trying if your furball likes quality grub and you don’t mind paying a bit extra for it!

MemberBefore I swapped to Wholesomes, Max was kinda picky with his food. But since we switched, no more standoffish behavior at mealtime. His coat is also shinier and softer than ever which honestly surprised me because he had fairly good coat condition before.
One thing that I need to mention though – changing your pooch’s diet isn’t always smooth sailing. Max experienced some loose stools in the first week or so but he adjusted pretty quickly after that.
All in all, I’d definitely recommend Wholesomes. Check out the ingredient list – they use real meat as the primary source of proteins without any artificial stuff. Plus, the price point isn’t that bad either. Just remember each dog is different so it might work differently for your pup.
Let us know how it goes if you decide to switch! Cheers to happy and healthy pups!

MemberI’ve been buying Kal Kan for our Lab mix for around 6 months now. Honestly, I have to say it’s a hit and miss. On the plus side, it’s budget-friendly and you can’t beat the convenience of being able to pick it up at most grocery stores.
But I was a bit concerned about the ingredients though. It’s got some fillers like corn and soybean meal, which isn’t awesome if you’re looking for a high protein diet for your pup. Also, my little guy tends to get gassy after eating it – not fun, lemme tell you!
All in all, it gets the job done but make sure to check with your vet first. Dogs are just like us – individual dietary needs vary, and what works for one might not work for another, y’know? Now we’ve switched over to a grain-free brand with more protein and fewer fillers as recommended by our vet.
So yeah, hope that helps a little! Just remember to look after yourselves and your furry pals alike. Let me know if you need anymore info. Cheers!

MemberJust want to chip in my two cents about Maev dog food, because I actually started using it with my lab Buddy few months ago. I was a bit skeptical at first but, let me tell you, this stuff is not your regular kibble. Buddy absolutely LOVES it!
The thing that really drew me in was that it’s organic and seems to have a good balance of protein, fruits, veggies and nutrients. Most importantly, I’ve seen an improvement on his coat – shiner than ever and less shedding – and energy levels.
However, on the downside, the price point might be a bit steep for some. But considering it’s custom-tailored for your pooch’s needs (which is awesome) plus the quality of ingredients they use, I think it’s well worth the investment. It’s all about considering what’s best for our furry friends, right?
Just remember to introduce new food gradually into your dog’s diet. They might need some time to adjust.
Hope this helps!

MemberI’ve been feeding my Lab, Max, Farmina for around 6 months now and I’m pretty chuffed with how he’s taken to it. His coat is shiner than it’s ever been and his digestion has improved big time! Doesn’t complain about any tummy troubles anymore.
Also really appreciate the fact that Farmina keeps things natural – no artificial preservatives or GMO crud. I did dig around a bit about their protein content promise before settling on this brand, turns out they use a lot of high quality animal proteins which is ace for my Max.
The only glitch: it’s a wee more expensive than the previous stuff I was using. But if it means healthy grub for my guy, I consider it money well spent!
Just be sure you transition gradually if you decide to switch—doggy digestion can be sensitive to sudden changes in diet, as I’m sure most of you know.
Let me know how it works out if you decide to give it a shot!
04/07/2024 at 7:15 PM in reply to: Looking for a Comprehensive Heart to Tail Dog Food Review? We’ve Tried it! #2395dreamycollie5614
MemberOh, you’re curious about Heart to Tail dog food, huh? I actually started using it for my Lab a few months ago. We switched from a pricier brand since money’s a bit tight. Honestly, I’ve been pretty surprised with the results! Coco seems to really enjoy the flavor – she’s always wagging her tail enthusiastically at meal times now.
I did notice softer stools initially, but our vet said it can happen when changing a dog’s diet. We gradually mixed in the new food with the old one over a week or so and everything normalized soon after. So maybe give that a go if you plan on switching.
The ingredient list doesn’t seem half bad either, especially considering the price point. But hey, I’m no pet nutritionist so take that for what it’s worth.
All in all, I’d say the quality’s been decent for what we paid. Of course, every dog is unique and could react differently to any food change so keep an eye out and consult your vet juts to be sure.
You know your fur baby best! Good luck with your decision-making process!
Until next time,
[Your Name]04/02/2024 at 9:39 PM in reply to: “Black Gold Dog Food Review: A Dog Owner’s Honest Opinion!” #2421dreamycollie5614
MemberI’m happy to say that we’ve tried Black Gold dog food for our fur-munchkin too. It’s really great stuff – our golden retriever has been on it for about 6 months now. His coat is shinier than ever and his energy levels have skyrocketed! I’ll admit, the high protein content worried me at first, but it seems just perfect for him.
The kibble size is a big plus too – not too tiny and not too big. Perfect bite-size for my boy. And he seems to love the taste which made transitioning from his old brand pretty easy.
Only drawback is that it’s a bit pricier than some of the other brands, but hey, for my pup’s health, I don’t mind spending a little extra. All in all, very satisfied with Black Gold dog food. 😉
Hope this helps! Happy tail wags to your pup! 🐾
