MemberI guess the only downside is that it’s a bit pricier compared to some other brands out there. But hey, if it keeps Benny healthy and happy, then it’s totally worth it in my book.
One funny thing I noticed: Benny seems to love the Salmon & Peas flavor over all else. Which is ironic since he absolutely refused to eat anything fish-related before. 🤷♂️ Dogs are a mystery sometimes!
Overall though—great food. Would definitely recommend giving it a try if you’re considering switching to something different for your fur baby! 🐶🐾

MemberI’ve been feeding my furry friend Open Farm dog food for a few months now, and honestly, I love it! The ingredients are top-notch and ethically sourced, which is a HUGE plus for me. Biscuit, my golden retriever, can’t get enough of the beef flavor. Not only do we know exactly where the food’s coming from (transparency is key!), but the company also does their bit for the environment with recyclable packaging.
At first look, it can seem quite pricey compared to other brands in the market. But if you genuinely care about your dog’s nutrition – as we all do – it’s a small price to pay. His coat’s never been shinier and he’s got energy for days. Plus, his vet check-ups have been clean as a whistle ever since we switched over.
Do keep in mind that every dog is different though! What works for Biscuit might not be the best fit for your pooch. As long as they dig the taste and it fits into their dietary needs, you should be good to go!
Hope this helps!

MemberHey all, just thought I’d give my two cents on the Wellness Core dog food. I have been using it for my 4-year-old Lab Daisy for about six months now and I’ve gotta say, I’m impressed.
First off, the protein content in this stuff is unreal! Daisy’s coat shines like never before and her energy level has ramped up noticeably since we switched from another brand. The grain-free formula seems to do its magic and she’s having fewer stomach issues nowadays. Plus, it’s all-natural without any weird chemical additives which gives me peace of mind.
The only downside? This stuff ain’t cheap! But then again, you get what you pay for…high-quality nutrition that keeps your pup happy and healthy. In my books, it’s an investment rather than an expense.
What are your thoughts? Anyone else feeding their dogs Wellness Core?

MemberIt might be on the pricier side compared to some other brands I’ve tried, but seeing how much Rufus loves it and how it’s improved his overall health, eases any buyer’s remorse. Words from the wise though; make sure you’re storing it properly. Learnt the hard way that if moisture gets into the bag its quality can degrade quite quickly.
Hope this helps!

MemberI think what I appreciate most about Weruva is their transparent approach to what they put in their food- real meat, vegetables, etc. It feels good knowing I’m giving my furry friend something I could technically eat myself.
My advice? Try a smaller bag or a can first before committing to a bulk purchase just to make sure your pup loves it as much as mine does. All dogs are different after all! Happy feeding 🐶🥘

MemberFrom what I can tell, their health is top-notch. Coats are shinier than ever, energy levels through the roof – so, 100% a thumbs up on that front. What’s more, it’s grain-free which was a big selling point for me given my older lab has some sensitivity. One downside is it’s a bit pricier than other brands out there but honestly, seeing how well they’re doing on it, I’m inclined to say it’s worth every penny.
Remember though, every dog is different and what works for mine might not work for yours. Might not hurt to test it out with a smaller pack first to see how your furkid reacts. Good luck!
Friendly-Beagle-2696
MemberI’ve noticed her coat has become shinier and she seems to have more energy during our daily walks in the park. Plus, the ingredient list is impressive – mostly whole food ingredients that I can actually pronounce. No weird fillers like soy or cornmeal.
The only downside I’d say is that it’s a bit pricier than some other brands–but you get what you pay for, right? For me personally, knowing that Bailey’s getting high-quality, nutritious food is worth the extra bucks. Hope that helps!Friendly-Beagle-2696
MemberHonestly, one of the best things about Acana is that they use regionally sourced ingredients all free from artificial preservatives. Plus, she seems to love the taste which is a bonus! It’s definitely on the pricier side though. But you know what they say, you get what you pay for. For me, Daisy’s health is worth every penny.
The only downside? The high protein content might not sit well with all pups. Daisy had a bit of a rumbling tummy at first but adjusted over time. Always worth checking in with your vet before making a switch!
Hope this helps!
09/17/2024 at 5:07 AM in reply to: My Honest Taste of the Wild Dog Food Review: An Adventure in Canine Nutrition #2031Friendly-Beagle-2696
MemberSo, I’ve been using Taste of the Wild for my two Labradors (Charlie annd Sam) for about 6 months now. Was worried about changing brands at first, but have to say, it’s probably one of the best decisions I’ve made. They dig right into it each time and their coats are shiner than ever – their vet even remarked on it!
What I like most is that it doesn’t come with any grain or filler ingredients that some other brands use, which I feel does a solid for my boys’ sensitive tummies. Plus, all those natural fruits and veggies in there? A big thumbs-up from me!
Had a minor delivery mishap once (package ripped), but their customer service was super quick to replace it, no hassles given.
But hey, every pup is unique – Charlie and Sam love it – but make sure you give your pup a small sample before committing to a big bag!
Cheers,

MemberWhat I’ve noticed is that his coat has been shinier than ever before, honestly like some gloss coated show dog, haha. His stool doesn’t concern me anymore either; it’s all solid and regular now (sorry for the “too much information”). I’m not saying that changing diets solved all of these entirely, but definitely saw improvements after the switch.
That said, every dog is unique – my buddy took to it well, but yours might have a different reaction. Just keep an eye out on anything unusual in their behavior or physical changes. Besides that, Eukanuba isn’t the cheapest brand around, so depending on your budget, that could be another consideration.
Anyway, hope this helps! Give your pupper a scratch behind the ears for me. 🐶
09/09/2024 at 2:20 AM in reply to: Looking for a Genuine Blue Buffalo Dog Food Review? Here’s mine. #2261Friendly-Beagle-2696
MemberI’ve been feeding my golden retriever, Bailey, Blue Buffalo for about a year now and he seems to realy like it. Can’t tell you much about the taste myself, but the pooch definitely chows down when mealtime rolls around haha!
For us, Blue Buffalo has worked well because Bailey is a pretty active doggo and it’s got a good balance of protein and carbs. Plus, it doesn’t have any weird filler ingredients that I can’t pronounce, so that’s a plus in my book! His coat has been shiny and he seems energetic as always.
In terms of price, it’s a bit on the higher side compared to other brands, but I think it’s worth it for all the natural goodies they cram into every bag. Plus, their packaging has little life source bits which they claim are nutrient-rich – sounds important eh?
As with everything though, each pup is unique so what works well for my Bailey might not work as great for your fur baby. Switching foods can also cause digestive issues initially so maybe try mixing in a small amount with their current food to start. Good luck!
09/07/2024 at 7:42 PM in reply to: My Fresh Perspective on 4health Dog Food: A Comprehensive Review #2235Friendly-Beagle-2696
MemberBut I gotta admit, it took them mabye a week or so to get used to the new food. They were on a different brand that I don’t want to name here (safety reasons), and initially the shift was not as smooth as I’d thought. But hey, what change IS immediately smooth, right?
I also noticed they’ve started drinking more water after meals, which isn’t really bad but definitely something I’d suggest you keep an eye out for if you decide to switch your pup over to 4health.
All said and done though the quality is top-notch and exactly what 4health promises. And most importantly, my dogs seem to love it – and ya know you want nothing but the best for your fur babies!
Hope this helps with your decision! Paws up from myself and my two happy chow-hounds! 🐾

MemberSo, I recently switched to AvoDerm for my lab, Max, who’s always had a sensitive tummy. His coat is shinier than ever and those pesky dry skin issues have practically disappeared! It seems like the avocado really did wonders.
At first, I was skeptical because let’s face it, premium dog food brands can make a dent in your wallet. But I figured since Max isn’t just a pet, he’s family, why not give it a whirl?
Anyway, Max loves the taste (though he is a Lab so maybe that doesn’t count 😅). The chicken and rice flavor seems to be his fav but we occasionally mix in the lamb meal and brown rice option too.
The kibble size is pretty much perfect for him – not too small or too big. One thing though is that this food seems to make him drink more water than usual. Maybe just because it’s dry kibble…
All in all, my Max is happy and healthy on AvoDerm. Sure it’s a touch pricey but seeing him thrive is totally worth it to me! Sometimes you gotta splurge a bit for our furry friends! 🐾
Hope this helps ya out!

MemberI’ve been feeding my Golden Retriever, Bailey, Member’s Mark dog food for about 6 months now. I decided to switch after reading up on its solid nutrition profile and affordability factor. Bailey is a picky eater, so it was definitely a risk, but she took to it right away!
The kibble size is perfect for her and the protein content keeps her energy level high throughout the day. Her coat looks healthier too, it’s shiny and vibrant! One thing I’ve noticed though is her stool tends to be a bit bulkier compared to when she was on other brands. But no signs of tummy upset or irregularities – just something to keep in mind.
That being said, every dog is unique so what works for Bailey might not work for your furry friend. Still, given its value for money and good quality ingredients – why not give it a shot?
Remember that any dietary change should be done gradually to avoid upsetting their stomachs. Best of luck! Hope your pup loves it as much as Bailey does if you decide to make the switch. 😊
