MemberI’ve been feeding my sweet golden retriever mix Natural Balance for about a year now. She used to have pretty bad skin allergies with the previous food I was giving her, constantly scratching annd losing hair. But ever since switching her to Natural Balance’s Limited Ingredient Diet, I’ve seen such a huge improvement! Her coat is shiny and full again and she’s much more energetic.
I appreciate the simple ingredients – it feels good knowing exactly what I’m putting into her body. The price is higher than some other brands on the shelf, but for me, the difference it’s made in my dog’s health makes it worth every penny. Plus, she seems to love the taste so that’s always a bonus.
Surely, what works for my pup may not work for all because each dog is unique. If you’re considering switching over though, I’d definitely give it two paws up!

MemberI’ve been feeding my 5-year-old Labrador, Max, Kal Kan dog food for the last few months. He seems to gobble it up without any fuss and as far as I can tell, he’s still healthy and active. The price is certainly a plus – it’s definitely one of the more affordable brands out there.
But really, every dog is different. Some might react differently to certain ingredients. Max has never shown any allergies or uncomfortable reaction, but that doesn’t mean all dogs would have the same experience. My advice is to give it a try but keep an eye out on your furry friend’s reaction; if anything seems off, switch things up.
Also, it wouldn’t hurt to check with your vet just to make sure Kal Kan suits your dog’s dietary needs before you fully switch. Better safe than sorry!
Hope this helps 🙂

MemberOne thing that I realy appreciate about Evangers is their commitment to high quality ingredients. It’s nice knowing that Rufus isn’t ingesting anything unnecessary or harmful.
The only small downside might be that it’s a bit pricier than some other brands out there, but personally, I think the cost is worth it when it comes to Rufus’ wellbeing.
But as always with pet food, remember every dog is different so keep an eye out for any changes in behavior or digestion from your pupper and consult with your vet if you have any concerns! Good luck with your dog food journey!
05/20/2024 at 8:54 AM in reply to: Looking for a Comprehensive Heart to Tail Dog Food Review? We’ve Tried it! #2392Friendly-Husky-1118
MemberHey there fellow dog lovers! Just thought I’d pop in and share my experience with Heart to Tail dog food. Went ahead and swapped my golden retriever’s kibble to the Heart to Tail brand about a month ago. Honestly, I was a bit wary at first as switching brands can be a bumpy ride, but he took to it quite well!
I appreciate that it’s no artificial flavors or preservatives, which is what turned me onto this brand initially. You know how fussy goldens can be when it comes to their food, but mine seems quite content with the taste. He clears his dish in record time these days!
One thing I did notice after a couple of weeks was the improvement in his coat. It appears much shinier now – could be due to the Omega 6 fatty acids they rave about.
However, I do wish they had more grain-free options for dogs with sensitive stomachs. I’ve got another little four-legged friend at home who can’t digest grains too well.
All things considered, Heart to Tail gets an 8 out of 10 from me! Good quality at a decent price point. But people, as always, keep an eye on your pooch while trying new food. What works for one might not work as well for another.
Just my two cents; hope someone finds this useful!
Happy tail wagging!

MemberOnly thing is, it’s a bit pricier than what we used to get so I usually stock up when it’s on sale. Also not everywhere stocks it, so sometimes I have to order online which can be a bit of a pain.
As always though, every dog is different. Might want to pick up a small bag first just to test the waters before making the full switch. Cheers and tail wags!
04/19/2024 at 8:21 AM in reply to: Just Completed a Month on Farmina Dog Food – Here’s My Review #2407Friendly-Husky-1118
MemberI heard some great things about this brand boosting energy levels in dogs and I can already see that in Max – he seems more playful than ever! And let’s not forget the shiny coat, I guess that Omega-3 is doing its magic.😉
So far, so good. The only downside is probably the price, it’s a bit on the higher side but honestly – for the quality you’re getting, I reckon it’s worth every penny. Hope that helps!

MemberHowever, I did notice that the chunks in the dry food are a bit large. Had to break them down for my old girl Sunny since she has some dental problems. And while the ingredients list looks decently balanced, it doesn’t exactly scream premium quality. There’s also some corn and grains in there, which can be less than ideal if your pup has allergies.
For budget-friendly dog food, it does the job alright. But if you’re looking to give your dog top tier grub, might wanna check out some other options out there. Plus always good to check with your vet – each furkid has their own unique needs! 🐾
