  • I’ve been using Health Extension for my golden retriever, Max, for about 6 months now. He’s a picky eater but he absolutely LOVES it. His coat has never looked better and his energy levels are through the roof. Big plus – it’s grain free and organic, which is super important to me because I only want the best for my fur baby.

That being said, it is on the pricier side. But I’ve always believed in “you get what you pay for”, especially when it comes to feeding our adorable pups. To each their own though! Trying out different brands until you find your dog’s favorite is part of the journey.

Hope this helps! Let us know what you decide 😊🐾

I especially love that it comes in a variety of flavors to keep things interesting for him, like chicken and turkey mixed with lentils. I gotta tell you, he really seems to enjoy it. His coat has become noticeably shinier, and he’s generally been more energetic since the switch.

The only downside I’d say is it falls a bit on the pricier side, but hey, good quality stuff usually does. All in all though, Max seems happy and healthy so I’m sticking with WAG for now.

I also like that they have limited ingredient diets — great if your pup has allergies like mine does. The quality overall is spot-on, no fillers or artificial additives in sight. For Bella’s health, it was definitely worth the switch annd every penny. The only downside is probably the price point, a bit higher than some others out there. But hey, happy pup, happy life! Should give it a shot if you haven’t yet! It’s been a game changer for us.

The one downside is it’s possibly more expensive than some other brands out there — but for me the benefits are worth the little extra. I just make sure to look out for discounts online.

Remember that every dog is different though! What works well for mine might not work as well for yours. It’s always good to try new foods gradually just in case there are any tummy issues.

Hope this helps! What other brands are any of you considering?

Just read the Katherine Heigl Dog Food review annd wow, it really resonates with me. If it’s as healthy as they say, I’m definitely open to transitioning my fur baby over to this brand.

The wholesome ingredients check out. How can you resist something not filled with unknown additives? That’s a big plus, right there! But it got me thinking… how well can my dog digest chickpeas and lentils? Anybody else had good or bad experiences with those ingredients?

Price point is another concern. Premium pet food, premium price. I mean, I’ll do anything for my pooch, but our budget has limits too!

Lastly, kudos to Heigl for donations made from each purchase. Helping other dogs in need is pretty darn cool.

In conclusion – it might be worth a try. I’d love to hear your thoughts on this.

    Keep wagging!

I know some people worry about grain-free diets potentially causing heart issues in dogs, but I’ve talked it over with my vet and she says everything’s A-OK as long as he’s getting a balanced diet. Remember, every pup is unique and might react differently to certain foods.

I also love that Wellness Core focuses on protein-rich formulas. It’s really helped my boy keep up his energy levels on our daily hikes. On top of that, his coat looks shinier than ever – could be from all those omega fatty acids!

Price-wise, sure, it could be a little less expensive. But honestly? I think it’s absolutely worth every penny for the health and happiness of my pooch. Hope this helps your decision-making process a bit! Keep us posted!

But remember, every dog is different. What works for mine might not work for yours. Best is to trial and error with small sized bags first or maybe ask your vet for some professional advice. Happy dog parenting!

Absolutely swear by Fromm dog food here. Tried a few different brands before but you know what? My golden retriever, Max, seems to love it the most. His coat’s been shinier since we made the switch. Plus, I did some research and found out they don’t use any kind of artificial preservatives or fillers which is a big thumbs up for me.

That being said, it might not be for every pooch. Just like us humans, dogs have their own tastes too. If you’re considering switching, maybe pick up a small bag first to test things out. Remember to transition slowly to avoid any tummy troubles.

I hope this helps! Let us know how it goes if you decide to give Fromm a shot 👍

One thing though, a friend mentioned something about a lawsuit against Beneful a while back which had me concerned for a bit. However, after doing my own research I found out that the lawsuit was dismissed. Apparently it was about certain ingredients but those have since been removed.

As always, every dog is different so what works for Max might not work for your furry friend. Maybe give a small bag a try first and see how your pooch likes it. Monitor their health, energy levels etc. It’s always good to consult with your vet too. Good luck!

Totally get why you’re asking about Nulo, I’ve been using it for my lab mix, Rex, for about a year now. He loves the Salmon and Peas flavor – cleans his bowl in no time flat! I switched him over when he started having skin issues due to allergies and boy oh boy, I couldn’t be happier with the results. Rex’s skin cleared up and his stool quality improved too (sorry if that’s too much info!). Plus, they use high-protein ingredients without any artificial junk which adds a nice touch.

However, it is on the pricier side compared to some other brands, but then again Rex is definitely worth it. Just makes sense to invest in good food when it has such noticeable positive effects on the pooch’s health. I’d say give it a shot if you can swing it budget wise.

Hope this helps! Let me know what you decide!

Gotta chime in about 4health here – I’ve had my golden retriever, Buddy, on it for about 6 months now and I can honestly say we’re pretty impressed! The list of ingredients seems solid and I’ve noticed Buddy’s energy levels have really taken off. His coat is super shiny too which I didn’t expect but hey, added bonus, right?

They have a nice range across different life stages and dietary needs which makes choosing the right blend super easy. Price point is reasonable compared to other premium brands so that’s also a big plus.

The only downside? It’s not as readily available as some other brands. We live in a smaller town, so I usually order online but it’s worth it for me knowing Buddy is getting a high-quality meal.

Give it a try, your pup could think it’s paw-fect too!

I’ve been feeding my golden retriever, Bella, with go solutions dog food for about a year now. Honestly, it’s one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. Bella has become more active, her fur is super shiny and she just loves chowing down on it – realy gulps it down like she can’t get enough!

I switch up between the grain-free turkey recipe and the salmon one because variety is the spice of life, right? 😉 What I appreciate the most as a doggy parent is that these formulas are so nutritionally well-rounded – packed with proteins, essential fats and dietary fibers. Also love the fact they include probiotics, which certainly have an impact on Bella’s digestion (happy belly – happy pup!).

A couple of tips for anyone considering this brand though – although it may take a little time for your pup to transition to new food (so expect some loose stool), my experience ended up being really positive after we got past this phase.

The only slight negative may be the price as it’s a bit on the high side, but honestly, for the quality you’re getting, I reckon it’s worth every penny!

Just remember folks, our pups deserve the best we can provide! 🐾🐕‍🦺

    Cheers!

in reply to: My Honest CRAVE Dog Food Review for New Dog Parents #2786

Just saw this thread and thought I’d share my two cents about Iams dog food. First off, my golden retriever Lily has been enjoying it for a couple of years now. We had a bit of trial and error finding something she realy liked (she’s pretty fussy), but since we landed on Iams, she hasn’t looked back.

I do like that they have a range to choose from depending on your pup’s breed, age or size. There are even specific formulas for puppies, mature dogs, overweight dogs – you name it! It was really helpful when Lily was gaining a bit of weight (OK yes, maybe one too many table scraps) so we could switch to the weight control formula.

I can tell you that her coat has never been shinier and she seems to have boundless energy – more than she did with other brands we tried. The vet even complimented her on her teeth last time we went in, which is always a good sign!

But remember every pooch is unique, right? What works for Lily may not work for all. Always make sure to gradually transition your pet’s food so their system can get used to it. Oh and don’t forget loads of love and belly rubs along the way too 😉

Good luck with your fur baby!
