  • I also took a taste myself (don’t be shocking! If it’s good enough for my boy, why not me, right?). Didn’t realy feel that meaty flavor they’re promoting so fiercely. Top that off with the high price tag and well… let’s just say we quickly switched back to our usual Purina Pro Plan.

I know every dog is different and what doesn’t work for mine might work wonders for someone else’s furry friend. But based on my experience, I’m struggling to recommend Pawstruck. Just make sure you do your research and maybe try out a smaller pack before committing to bulk orders, folks.

in reply to: Gathering Thoughts on Bully Max Dog Food Reviews #3135

I’ve been feeding my American Pit Bull, Bruno Bully Max for about 6 months now. Honestly, I see the results in his muscle development and overall energy levels. He’s been tearing up our backyard with zeal! His coat also looks shinier and healthier.

But one thing that does raise a red flag for me is the price tag on this product. It’s honestly not pocket friendly, especially if you’re on a tight budget. And it’s a little hard to justify when there are high-quality alternatives available for a much lower cost.

Also, although it seems to be fantastic nutritionally, make sure your dog has the right attitude towards it. Initially, Bruno was reluctant to eat it but later adjusted.

Lastly, some users have reported issues such as loose stools and canines developing allergies or sensitivities. Therefore, always consult with your vet prior to making any drastic dietary changes for your good boy or girl.

Overall though, if price isn’t a concern and your pup takes to the food well… why not? Just be watchful of how they react initially.

    Take care!

I did notice her coat looked shinier but this could also be due to the fish oil supplement we’ve been adding. The thing that really got me was seeing corn gluten meal listed among the ingredients. I mean, Rachael Ray markets it as premium food with no filler ingredients, yet there it was!

It’s not terrible food per se, but definitely doesn’t fit into the premium category for me. Ended up switching to different brand and my fur baby seems happier already. Hope this helps you out! As always, every dog is different so keep an eye on your pooch’s reaction. May the paws be with you!🐾

Firstly, Fred didn’t really take to it like I thought he would. He’s generally not too picky but he wasn’t enthused about meal times anymore which took away a good part of our bonding time. It was actually sad seeing the sloping tail when he sniffed his bowl. 😕

Also, maybe it’s just us – or perhaps poor Fred has a sensitive tummy – but his stool wasn’t quite right after switching to BIXBI. He had loose stools for a week before I finally decided to switch back to his old food. Post that, everything went back normal.

Price-wise, BIXBI falls into the expensive range and honestly, for those dollars, there are definitely other premium options that seem more worth it.

Don’t get me wrong though – every dog’s different and I’ve heard of dogs thriving on BIXBI but sadly, we’re not one of them. Personally, I found it wasn’t the best fit for us. Guess we’ll stick to our trusted brand for now.

Cheers everyone and remember, what works for one pup might not work for another – keep trying till you find what suits your furry friend best!🐾

However, Bella wasn’t too thrilled about it. She’s normally not picky at all but seemed less enthusiastic about meal times. Also, her energy levels didn’t improve as much as I had hoped. Maybe it’s just her being a picky golden; we know how they can be.

On a more critical note though, comparing the price point to other organic-based foods, it seems on the higher side without providing any noticeable upgrades in Bella’s overall wellbeing. Personally, I’d say there are a few better options out there worth checking out that deliver on both quality and value for money.

Just my two cents! It varies from dog to dog, of course. Some might love it while others don’t but thought I’d share my experience. Happy hunting for the perfect food for your fur baby!

But, here’s the kicker… my Labrador tried it and strangely enough, wasn’t a big fan. He’s typically a chow hound, eats anything right off the plate without frowning but this food – he sniffed around and seemed rather uninterested.

Now don’t get me wrong, I can see why some might praise its high-quality ingredients and nutritional value – it definitely has more to offer than an average supermarket brand. However, for what they are charging ($60 per week approx), I’d expect my Lab to absolutely delight in it; which unfortunately wasn’t the case.

Also, someone mentioned that the food seemed too ‘densely packed’ or ‘dried out’? Here’s a nod from me: it was slightly dryish and overly processed. Not what I imagine when hearing ‘freshly cooked meal’.

Hope this helps anyone sitting on the fence! Just remember thogh every pooch is different and what didn’t work for mine might just be your good boy’s or girl’s absolute favorite! Happy feeding!

Looking at the bag label, yes, it ticks all boxes concerning nutritional content and assures no artificial additives. But honestly speaking, it’s a bit pricy compared to other quality brands that my pooch has happily gobbled up in the past.

I guess what I’m trying to say is ensure your fur buddy agrees with you before making a switch based on promise alone. A brand being Amazon’s own doesn’t automatically qualify it as every dog’s favorite! We’re going back to our usual blend for now – affordable, nutritious, and most importantly, Max-approved!

    Keep those tails wagging! 🐾🐾

But lemme tell you something important too – not everyone has the good luck I did. There are a ton of reviews online where folks aren’t as happy. Some complained about changes in formula leading to upset pup tummies, while others mentioned the high price tag. It’s definitely more expensive than some others on the market but personally, I find it worth the cost for its quality ingredients.

However, every dog is different! What works splendidly for my fur kids might not suit yours. So if you’re gonna switch, make sure to transition your pets slowly onto new food and watch for any negative reactions. Good luck with your decision!

in reply to: My Honest CRAVE Dog Food Review for New Dog Parents #2788

But here’s where things get tricky…after a couple of months, Max started losing interest in his kibble – which was unusual for him. Around the same time, he began having digestive issues as well: gas, loose stools and all that unpleasant stuff. Took him to the vet and she thought it could be the food as nothing else seemed amiss.

So we slowly transitioned him off CRAVE and back onto his old food. Lo and behold, our boy bounced right back! His tummy issues cleared up and he’s back to anticipating meal times with glee.

It’s disappointing because I had high hopes for CRAVE, but every dog is unique with their own dietary needs. What works wonders for some pups might not be the best fit for others. So while I think CRAVE could potentially be great, it just wasn’t the right fit for my Max.

Remember – always monitor your fur baby closely when switching diets! In doubt? Consult your trusted vet.
    Cheers!

I gotta tell ya, for the price you’re paying, the quality they deliver is pretty impressive. Ingredients include real chicken along with fruits annd veggies – No fillers or weird additives. Plus, it’s grain-free which is a big plus if your pooch has allergies.

But remember, every dog is different and what works best for Buster might not work best for your furry friend. So always consult with your vet to pick the best diet plan!

Good luck and keep those tails wagging! 🐾

Ever since switching to Zignature, there’s been a noticeable improvement in his coat, and the best part is – he absolutely loves the varieties of flavor they offer, especially trout and salmon! It is a bit on the pricier side compared to some other brands on the shelf, but hey, it’s grain-free and seems to be doing wonders for our little guy so I think it’s definitely worth it.

I would advise anyone thinking about trying Zignature food though, introduce it slowly into your dog’s diet just to avoid any upset tummies. Also, while this worked for my pup it might not work for every pet out there so always check in with your vet before completely changing their diet.

Hope that helps! Let me know if you have other questions. Give your pups an extra treat from me!

Just saw your post asking about Sunday dog food and thought I’d share my two cents. I’ve been feeding my Lab, Max, Sunday food for about four months now. It definitely gets a thumbs up from me!

What really sold me on it was the quality of ingredients – no fillers, no by-products, just straightforward, real food that’s dehydrated for convenience. Plus, it’s grain-free which works great for Max’s sensitive tummy. As a bonus, he loves the taste!

The only downside? It’s a little pricier than your standard kibble, but still affordable enough if you ask me. I think it’s worth it given the benefits. Of course every dog is different, so just keep an eye on how your pup reacts to any new food.

    Hope that helps! Happy feeding!

    Cheers,

Max seems to really enjoy the variety of flavors. His particular favorite is the chicken recipe with veggies. So score one for taste, I suppose! But a heads up here – if your fur baby has a sensitive stomach or special dietary needs, PLEASE check the ingredients carefully. While they do have those real meats and nutritious veggies, they also sneak in a fair bit of grain fillers and controversial ingredients.

My take? If your pooch doesn’t have specific dietary quirks and enjoys it, go for it. It won’t hurt their wallet or their taste buds! But always remember to consult your vet before making any major diet changes. Keep those tails wagging, folks!

Just thought I’d share my two cents on Greenies too – I’ve been using them for a while now with my Labrador, Suzy. Verbally, she can’t tell me if she likes them, obviously, but the excited tail wag when I open the bag might be a hint!

That being said, I wouldn’t exactly call Greenies “dog food”. They’re dental chews and treats that help with oral hygiene. Honestly, they’ve worked wonders for Suzy’s breath! But don’t get carried away and replace regular meals with these – that won’t do any good.

Price-wise, yes, they are a bit on the higher side compared to other brands. However, considering the benefits and fewer trips to the vet for dental issues, I think it’s worth it.

The big downside? Suzy’s stools afterwards can be a bit…how shall I put it…squishy. Not all dogs have this issue but ya might want to take note!

Overall, each dog is different – just because Suzy enjoys Greenies doesn’t mean every dog will. Always best to give new stuff a trial run!
Remember folks – moderation is key when it comes to treats. Let’s keep our fur babies happy and healthy! Cheers!
